Inspirato Presents: The Meal You'll Remember
"Montagna at The Little Nell Hotel in Aspen is not only romantic but was recognized as part of the coveted Five Star and Five Diamond list of fine dining restaurants. The plush surroundings and killer wine cellar make any night a special occasion. After your spectacular dinner, snuggle up in the lounge with an after dinner drink and their doughnuts with dipping sauces." -Kristin Craig, Destination Concierge
Montagna's Executive Chef Robert McCormick concentrates his menu on European-influenced cuisine with a touch of local Colorado ingredients. Because the restaurant is located at The Little Nell Hotel & Residences, the Montagna has access to its 20,000-bottle wine cellar. The restaurant's Master Sommelier Jonathan Pullis can pair your meal with a Napa Chardonnay or a fine Bordeaux red… or virtually any wine your palate desires.
Your Concierge's Choices
Best place for a romantic dinner
Similar to its sister restaurant in Vail, Matsuhisa is known for its unique style of fusion cuisine blending traditional Japanese dishes with Peruvian and Argentine ingredients. Some of Matsuhisa Aspen's specialties (and our recommendations), include: Broiled Black Cod with Miso, King Crab Tempura "Amazu" Sweet Ponzu, Shrimp with Wasabi Pepper or Spicy Garlic Sauce, and Squid Pasts with Light Garlic Sauce. Of course, don't forget that Matsuhisa's true specialty is its sushi and sashimi.
Best locals restaurant
"Cache Cache is known for its daily fish specials. You can never go wrong with that! It is a charming bistro that isn't too noisy and has fine-dining French food at reasonable prices, which locals love." -Kristin Craig, Destination Concierge
Cache Cache Member Favorites: Colorado Rack of Lamb, "Tender Belly" Pork Loin Chop, Vanilla Bean Crème Brûlée, and an Apple Crisp
