Disappointing property.

I've vacationed with Inspirato for over a decade, and with rare exception, have been very pleased. This home however was a total disappointment. The home is dated, poorly appointed, and very poorly maintained. It fell very short of what I have come to expect and have experienced with Inspirato. In fact, after one night I asked for a credit so I could look for an alternative place to stay. My request was denied. I was given 10% in travel credits.

The local team, Ashley and Meghan, were excellent and acknowledged some of the home's short comings. They also informed me that upgrades were planned in the near future. Unfortunately, that did nothing for me and my guests on this trip.

Great house Great Location

This was a perfect location to get up to Beaver Creek Village or down to the highway. We stayed with another family (10 total) for a kids soccer tournament in the valley. The house is perfect for two families with the lowest floor essentially being it's own beautiful apartment. Foosball table in the game room was perfectly on brand for soccer weekend and Peleton was nice for the adults to get a little workout in before starting the day before yelling from the sidelines. We did have a little mouse issue on the lowest level, but concierge told us this is typical for Fall season when it's getting cold. Also had to call and remind them to send the daily cleaning crew since they didn't end up showing up until 3pm on our second day. The house itself is well laid out, stocked well if you want to stay in and cook, and the wood burning fire places were perfect for the crisp Fall evenings.

Wonderful views for morning Peloton ride

A moment in Paradise!

Just relax and enjoy the house and the weather. The house was perfect for our stay. The hot tub came in handy after a round of golf. Used the grille one night grilling steaks at the house. Niki did an outstanding job in making sure that our wants and reservations were in place.

Very Spacious

Great space for our family! Having the two bedrooms down stairs is great for families with kids or young adults. It was great having the steam shower and hot tub after a long day of skiing. The home is older but still very nice!!

Needs attention

My family had so looked forward to our stay in Beaver Creek as we had a home in the area for 25 years and just sold three years ago because it was large and we could not no longer use often enough. The Solitude home looked perfect for our needs ( in the photos) and able to accommodate our family of 8 adults and four grandchildren ages 3-6. For a house for 12 people there was not sufficient kitchen space to put away food ( no pantry in a 4+ million dollar home?) and the cookware was so insufficient that our concierge had to go buy a stock pot of us to use. There was one small saucepan, 1 stock pot and a few frying pans. Other members may not cook in the homes, but we do and we had the home for 9 nights. The front lawn was the only one on the block that was unkept. I took pictures to send to Inspirato. The lawn was full of weeds and saplings coming up from not mowing in a long time. The grass was at least a foot tall. This is a new house for Inspirato and I could see from Goggle that they purchased last year and updated the master bath, which is nice. They made a few furniture modifications that I did not find to be upgrades . The back deck should have been refinished when Inspirato purchased the home. It is peeling and looks bad. They squeezed 8 new dining chairs around the table and added 4 large barstools where 3 had previously been in order to be able to prove a home for 12. I have stayed in nicer VRBO homes in the Vail Valley for less and would not recommend Solitude as a high end home . The location can’t be beat, but Inspirato needs to maintain the home to the standard the neighborhood requires.
