Wonderful Experience with my Wife and Mom

My mother has limited mobility and uses a walker, so my wife and I chose to stay in one of the cottages. The experience was terrific. Access to the main inn and amenities was convenient for her, and the cottage was so comfortable that my wife and I were also able to relax and fully enjoy everything the property has to offer.

Amazing Setting and Picturesque Cottages

Great location with beautiful ambiance all around. Very nice décor and quality in the main hotel buildings as well as the Cottage we stayed in. Allow time to make arrangements with the concierge and staff - they seem overwhelmed and hence are less responsive than we'd expect. They do have a lot to do on site and many family and kid friendly activities. We did the lobstering trip and then had the kitchen cook the 2 we caught! We wanted to do the bonfire and s'mores on the beach but it was all booked to definitely arrange for that earlier! The dining options on site were great and overall service there was good as well. Walking distance from the cottages is the Fish Market where you can see daily fish hauls brought in (and all the seals that congregate) and get super fresh meals (we loved getting lobster rolls here)!

View from the Cottage Suite - chairs are out front to sit and enjoyWalking around the property - very prettyMain hotel building overlooks the beach front pool and dining amenitiesGrounds are very nicely kept with beautiful flowers blooming in summer (we went in August)Ocean water is a bit cool but the pool is perfect - very large with lots of loungers and cabanas available as well as poolside drink and food serviceIn front of the hotel buildings and cottages there are always all sorts of fishing boats in the harbor

Beautiful Hotel with Exceptional Service

The Hotel is the definition of what you are looking for in Cape Cod. Beautiful views a very charming town. Everyone we encountered went out of their way to make us happy.

Went there as a kid? Your kids deserve better...

The location is irreplaceable. Views are fantastic. Room was very dated, bathroom even more so. Who shares a bidet? OK, fine. The real issue was the service and the food. I know we're in a pandemic. However, we're talking about no answer at the front desk, not after a dozen rings - no one picks up at all. This was on multiple occasions - we also tried, operator, valet, housekeeping - no one. This is a safety issue. We arrived at 430, room wasn't ready until 515. . . 3 towels for 4 people (twice!). 3 pillows for 4 people (twice!). Bed wasn't made as requested and no blankets were provided. Director of F&B, restaurant manager, waiter and hostess literally standing around talking in the middle of the restaurant. Never should happen when you're open (service 101). Chowder was tasteless, fish was cold...enough said . . .
