Current Vintage

Nantucket's charm is timeless, and so are the home furnishings and vintage clothing at this much-loved store. Styles trace back as far as the 1940s, and the hand-selected items also include fashionable accessories. There are even rare, small-batch wines for sale-vintage, of course.

Nantucket Looms

You can visit the weaving station upstairs to see the artistry at work. The signature item is a brushed mohair chaise throw, but you'll also find high-quality upholstery fabrics, home furnishings and accessories, and furniture lines from MacGuire and Kravet.

Artists Association of Nantucket

Since 1945, local artists have supported the association in order to help art thrive and maintain an important place in Nantucket life. The impressive exhibits change regularly-and in February and March, are viewable by appointment only, so contact your concierge to make arrangements.

Dane Gallery

Glass artists Robert Dane and Jayne Hare Dane have established one of the premier modern glass art galleries in the country. Located in the heart of Nantucket, you'll enjoy personal service in helping you peruse the enchanting glass works as well as ceramics and wood art.

The Toy Boat

Sailboats, docks, lighthouses-if it has a maritime theme, The Toy Boat probably has a representative toy. Many are locally crafted and hand-carved, and most have an educational element, too.

The aim here is to keep the inventory of shoes and clothing, jewelry and accessories, and fragrances and more completely fresh. Stroll inside and you'll see that the mission has been fabulously accomplished. As their website warns, you may leave with something totally different than you had in mind when you arrived.
