Hazies

Enjoy a casual lunch or upscale dinner at this top-of-the-mountain restaurant, which you can reach via the Silver Bullet Gondola. The evening menu features thought-provoking dishes such as scallop and lobster jambalaya with tasso dirty rice, fried leeks and Creole crème fraîche. This is a great place to stimulate all of your senses. You can taste incredible food while viewing a spectacular vista from atop Steamboat Mountain. Reservations are strongly recommended.

Harwigs/L'Apogée

Located in downtown Steamboat in an old saddle shop building, this eatery serves French cuisine with an Asian flair. The dining room is walled with wine labels and wood crates from some of the best French wineries in the world, which is fitting because the wine list at Harwigs is generously dotted with names from both well-known and boutique vineyards. The chef changes the menu seasonally and based upon ingredient availability. You'll enjoy decadent entrées such as seared salmon with grape tomato wild rice and roasted duck with butternut squash and blueberry demi-glaze, accompanied by daily-made desserts. The comfortable outdoor seating is sure to complement any meal.

Mazzola's

A family-owned Italian restaurant with a comfortable atmosphere and large portion sizes, Mazzola's is a great place to bring the whole family. Chefs make traditional Italian meals and thoughtful, pleasing dishes with fresh mozzarella, garden-grown basil and homemade sauces. This locally run restaurant boasts the slogan "Dress down, eat big, talk loud and break a few rules," so enjoy the delicious food and inviting yet casual atmosphere.

Winona's

Winona's is a favorite local eatery around Steamboat, especially for breakfast. It's casual, mountain-friendly and conveniently located, so you can grab a bite before you hit the slopes. We recommend the local-legend French toast made from day-old cinnamon buns. Winona's is also a good choice for lunch, with a great selection of homemade soups, sandwiches and salads.
