Member John L. recently stayed with Inspirato on Costa Rica’s Cacique Peninsula for a weeklong vacation, bringing along his children, Amelia and Jake, ages 4 and 2. Throughout their vacation — and even before they arrived in Costa Rica — John’s family worked with Kelsey to arrange an active yet kid-friendly itinerary. “Kelsey is very helpful and knows where the best locations are for dining,” John said. “She knows all the proprietors in town and they know her.”
“I think we most enjoyed snorkeling in the ocean with our kids,” John said. “Despite them being 4 and 2, they were both able to navigate in the ocean with goggles and floaties. It was a joy to see their expressions as we spotted different kinds of fish.”
Even just spending time at their spacious residence was a highlight; the kids loved splashing around in the pool. “Our residence was possibly the grandest house in that area. The view is hands down the best one of the Inspirato residences there,” John said. “The house is stunning, inside and out. The view from the pool is majestic to say the least.”
To make things even more convenient for members — especially those traveling with kids — complimentary in-residence breakfast service is available in this destination (members pay for only the cost of groceries). Each morning, John’s family awoke to their housekeeper whipping up a meal of traditional Costa Rican fare, as well as their favorites from home. “Make sure to make use of the housekeeping that cooks you breakfast daily. It is outstanding.”
