Inspirato Named One of The Best Places To Work In Colorado

Leading Luxury Travel Club Receives Additional Award for “New Ideas”

DENVER (April 16, 2012)- Inspirato, a Denver-based private luxury travel club, has been named one of Colorado's Top Workplaces in 2012 in a new report released yesterday by The Denver Post. The award is based on confidential employee surveys and measures qualities such as leadership, career opportunities, workplace flexibility, compensation and benefits.

"We are thrilled to be recognized as one of the top companies to work for in Colorado," said Brent Handler, CEO and co-founder of Inspirato. "The award is particularly gratifying because it is based on employee feedback. I've been in business long enough to know that you can't have a successful business without having happy employees. Since day one, we have been committed to assuring that working at Inspirato is both enjoyable and rewarding."

Nearly 1,000 Colorado companies were invited to participate in the survey, which was conducted by Workplace Dynamics late last year. The report recognizes the state's top 100 employers and ranked Inspirato as the 13th top company among 55 companies with 150 employees or fewer.

Inspirato also received a special award in The Denver Post competition for "new ideas." According to one survey response from an Inspirato employee, "Ideas and suggestions are truly valued, listened to and implemented" at the company.

The Denver Post's Top Workplaces 2012 found that feeling "genuinely appreciated" is the most important factor in employee job satisfaction - alongside believing in the company's direction. When asked, "What makes you feel appreciated at Inspirato?" employees shared such day-to-day attributes as "everyone takes the time to recognize each other's work" and "the c-level staff are approachable and make a point to be friendly and engaged with the entire team."

Other Inspirato employee responses highlighted the immense satisfaction of "being directly involved in building a new company and industry" and working alongside "intelligent and driven people."

Since the company's launch in January 2011, Inspirato has grown to a team of more than 130 employees - and continues to hire new staff. Inspirato's innovative business model - leasing rather than owning luxury vacation properties to keep membership fees and rates low - inspired Forbes magazine to name Inspirato one of America's Most Promising Companies in 2011.
