Venture into a land of mist-shrouded fjords, tidewater glaciers, and islands teeming with wildlife. After seamlessly starting your journey in Seattle at our host hotel, join Inspirato and National Geographic to explore Southeast Alaska’s shallow, fast-moving channels where whales return to feed every year and ancestral trails are carved in the forest by lumbering bears. We’ll search for marine life with National Geographic’s undersea specialist, kayak along the coast, and spend a full day in Glacier Bay National Park with insights from a park ranger and a Tlingit cultural interpreter. Another highlight will be hiking and kayaking in the wild and remote areas of Tongass National Forest, the nation’s largest national forest, home to many species of endangered and rare flora and fauna.

Pre- and Post-Cruise Hotels
Included in your cruise fare is one night pre-cruise in Seattle, Washington. The host hotel is to be announced at a later date. Inspirato will be able to offer additional nights at preferred rates for those looking to extend their stay in Seattle before the cruise.
Our expedition concludes in Juneau, Alaska on January 23, 2023. For members extending their travels in Alaska or elsewhere after the expedition, post-cruise hotel extension assistance is available through your Care team.
