Things to Know

  • This is an expedition—not your typical luxury cruise.

  • Members’ doctors will be required to complete a comprehensive medical evaluation approximately six months prior to departure.
  • Passports are required and must be valid for at least six months after your departure date from Santiago, Chile.
  • Members will fly into Buenos Aires, Argentina (EZE) and out of Santiago, Chile (SCL).
  • Member must arrive in Buenos Aires no later than Sunday, January 19, 2020.
  • The return flight from Ushuaia into to Santiago should land around 5:30 P.M., so flights out of Santiago, Chile can be anytime after 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 30, 2020, or members can choose to stay in Santiago, Chile.
  • This expedition is family-friendly, though all those aboard must be age 12 or older
  • Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied and situated in the same or an adjoining stateroom by a parent or other responsible adult over the age of 21.
  • There will be no children’s programming or children’s counselors onboard the National Geographic Orion.
  • There are no triple occupancy staterooms available.
  • Wireless Internet is complementary, and will be issued in the form of 100 Minute Cards (to encourage logging off). Wireless Internet aboard the ship is very slow and unreliable, if available at all.

Additional Information:

  • Travel Insurance for this expedition is required.
  • Cancellation Policy: Non-refundable unless the stateroom category is full and Inspirato is able to rebook that stateroom. If Inspirato is able to rebook, the Inspirato member will receive 90% back in Travel Credits. If applicable, this would be refunded after January 27, 2020.
