  • Water Sports at the Boathouse

    The boathouse at Bahia Beach Resort & Golf Club is a popular amenity. Offering complimentary equipment and gear for various activities, you and your group can explore 70 acres of canals and lakes on the resort grounds. Nearby is the Espíritu Santo River, should you feel like venturing a bit farther.

    Kayaking and paddle boarding. Traditionally, these activities are offered on the resort's lake. If you would like to take your equipment out to the open water of the ocean, the resort can arrange your plans.

    Canoeing. A canoe is the perfect vessel for navigating the property's canals with more than four miles to explore.

    Fishing. Traditional catch and release fishing is available on the resort's lake. Spin fishing is common on the resort's docks. A variety of saltwater fish species inhabit the water; mangrove snapper, jack and mullet, to name a few.

    Windsurfing. For the more adventurous type, this surface water sport is a marriage of surfing and sailing. For the purists, you can also surf on a traditional board or sail on a regular sailboat.
