Castles, Cliffs, and Championship Greens: The Moore’s Bespoke Ireland Adventure

From luxurious castle stays to windswept golf courses, Jeff and Diane Moore’s Bespoke Ireland journey blended breathtaking landscapes, cultural discovery, and the camaraderie of fellow Inspirato travelers.

Staying Like Royalty in Ireland’s Finest Castles

The Moore’s journey began with the Bespoke portion of their trip, starting in some of the most celebrated castle stays in Ireland. At Ashford Castle, they woke to serene lake views, spent a morning kayaking, and tried their hand at falconry with majestic birds of prey.

Their time at Dromoland Castle proved just as magical. Each property offered its own distinctive charm, making it nearly impossible to choose a favorite.

“We found ourselves constantly saying, ‘this might be my favorite,’ only to fall in love with the next stop just as much,” Jeff recalled.

Exploring Ireland’s Natural Wonders

The Bespoke Team designed an itinerary that ventured beyond the familiar. The Slieve League Cliffs, towering dramatically over the Atlantic, rivaled the Cliffs of Moher in beauty while offering a more tranquil experience. The Burren, with its windswept limestone landscape, felt wild and untouched, leaving the Moores in awe.

These lesser-known gems were perfect examples of the insider recommendations that make Bespoke travel so remarkable.

Tee Times in Iconic Locations

The second half of their journey was dedicated to the Inspirato Only Ireland Golf Adventure. Lahinch Golf Club brought 30 mph winds and driving rain, but Jeff embraced the challenge—and the humor of Huey, a quick-witted 70-year-old caddie who offered both sage advice and playful critiques.

Waterville and Adare Manor provided equally stunning backdrops for memorable rounds, with Jeff noting that some of his best play came on these historic greens.

“The camaraderie with other members, the expertise of local guides, and the warmth of the Inspirato team made every moment memorable,” Jeff said.

Cultural Immersion Off the Course

Beyond golf and landscapes, the Moores immersed themselves in Ireland’s vibrant culture. In Belfast, they explored the Titanic Museum privately after hours and visited the Game of Thrones exhibit. A hands-on baking class introduced them to traditional Irish breadmaking, while a food tour in Galway offered flavorful bites and lively conversation.

Every interaction reflected the warmth and hospitality for which Ireland is known, making the entire country feel like home.

Effortless Travel, Every Step of the Way

Jeff and Diane credit the flawless execution of their trip to the Inspirato Bespoke and Experiences team. From planning with Maclean, to itinerary collaboration with Tara, to on-the-ground coordination by Cat and Emily, every detail was handled with precision.

“From wheels up to wheels down back at home, not a single detail is ever missed. With Bespoke, we get experiences few others ever have, and we just get to enjoy,” Jeff said.

A Journey to Remember

From castle stays to coastal cliffs, from historic towns to iconic golf courses, the Moore’s Bespoke Ireland adventure delivered everything they had imagined and more. Ireland left its mark on their hearts, and they are already dreaming about where Bespoke travel will take them next.
