What We Love About Our St. Croix Cliffside Estate, Panorama

Shimmering water, white-sand beaches, and a warm Caribbean breeze—St. Croix is the ideal island getaway. And because it’s a part of the U.S. Virgin Islands—along with St. Thomas and St. John—there’s no passport needed.

If you’re thinking about visiting, we have the perfect retreat: Situated on the island’s north shore, Panorama is a first-row, five-bedroom cliffside home within an exclusive, gated community on a private peninsula. This Caribbean dream house is a little slice of paradise.

Perched on a rugged and picturesque coastline, Panorama offers Caribbean Sea views all throughout the property. The two ocean-facing outdoor patios are major highlights of the home—enjoy the sounds of crashing waves and ocean views from multiple furnished balconies. Nestled within lush vegetation, the pool area invites you to lay out in the sun and crack open a drink from the covered bar. Take advantage of the home’s outdoor amenities as you admire views of Buck Island from the hot tub, enjoy time with the group around the fire pit, or serve up lunch from the grill.

Panorama’s contemporary coastal design and 5,500-square-foot open-floor plan makes spending time indoors just as magical. Between five bedrooms and four and a half baths, this home is perfect for a family gathering or a big outing with friends. Large windows and glass doors line the home, bringing in natural light and stunning ocean views. The kitchen is complete with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and mahogany counter tops, offering an open invitation for you to whip up a tasty home-cooked meal—or the perfect place to host a private chef. And if you’re seeking a little extra self-care, catch a sunrise during your workout at the in-home gym, overlooking the ocean.

A short-but-picturesque nature trail will direct you from Panorama to the beach—swimmable beaches are just a quick drive away. You’ll have private access to Judith’s Fancy Beach, where you can spot locals surfing and kiteboarding or visitors collecting corals and shells. (We wouldn’t necessarily recommend swimming here, but it’s the perfect surf-watching spot.)

Explore the island further and choose from a variety of activities and excursions from strolling farmers markets to stand-up paddleboarding. Book a private catamaran for a fun group outing, drive through lush rainforest on a four-wheel Jeep tour, or visit 40 Strand Eatery for made-to-order fresh and locally sourced food.
