We’ve loved looking back on some of Inspirato members and passholders’ favorite memories with the club, and we appreciate you sharing them with us on the official member Facebook page and beyond. As our residences begin to open across the country, we thought we’d highlight some of our favorite member reviews to help get you thinking about where you might like to go when it’s safe to travel again. Here’s another of our favorites from passholder Mike L., who visited Costa Rica’s scenic Cacique Peninsula with his wife on their first Inspirato trip.

“To set the stage, this was our very first trip with Inspirato and our first trip to Costa Rica.

“Some important house and service points of feedback: Serena is situated on top of a hill overlooking the ocean and honestly, we have just experienced some of the most wonderful views we have ever seen. Morning, during the day, and evening sunset views were all fantastic. The house was well appointed and well maintained. It was just my wife and I so we had extra space to read, spread out, and enjoy. The outdoor shower in master bedroom was was very nice. We’re anxious to see other Inspirato properties to compare.

Our trip planner was very helpful with suggestions and arrangements. Every single element of our trip went off without a hitch. Gustavo did a nice job helping us to have enough activities to experience the local area, and yet didn’t overdue it with activities so we could come home completely relaxed and reset.

“He did this with planned events and suggestions, both of which were very helpful. Our concierge, Jennifer, was also very good. She helped us make a couple of tweaks to our agenda and was very attentive to our needs, even just checking in to make sure we didn’t need anything. She was a delight.

“Honestly, one of our highlights of this trip was the house staff, Vicky and Ariel. Sitting at our outdoor table every morning and enjoying an already prepared breakfast while overlooking Coco Beach and the Pacific Ocean—what a special element of trips to Costa Rica. And our two house caregivers were absolutely wonderful.

“We only went out to dinner twice all week. Instead we really wanted to try the in-home dining chef services. We utilized Chef4U three times and Chef Veronica one time. Some may prefer going out for a number of reasons, but I have to tell you this was our second highlight of the trip. Dinner, at dusk or slightly after, with music and wine outside—it was very nice! Both of these services were top notch. Excellent food and excellent presentation. We also had in-home massages that were a very good experience.

“We took the Coco Tours Palo Verde trip. We highly recommend it for the wonderful feel of local culture. Giovanni, our tour guide and owner of the company, was super knowledgeable and his pride in Costa Rica and everything he showed us came across so clearly. Boat ride was very nice, but an authentic lunch in a village of less than 500 people…we will never forget that. We also did horseback riding on the beach. That was fun and informative too. Oliver took very good care of us and was waiting to guide us right to where the horses and ride began.

“The people in Costa Rica are genuinely happy and truly understand the importance of service. I realize our planners and the local team are partially responsible for finding the right chefs or tours, etc. But that said, the people were really appreciative of us being there and took such good care of anything we needed.

“Great first trip…can’t wait for what is yet to come. Pura vida!”
