Both Kay and her husband Ed had been to Ireland before, but their children and grandchildren had never seen the country where their family’s story began.
“My husband’s father is from Ireland, both of my parents were from Ireland, and we had made several trips with my kids when they were younger. I really wanted to take our grandchildren, and they’re at a good age now to go. We had a vision. We knew the towns and regions we wanted to visit, but Inspirato brought it all to life. From two-day stays in different towns to coordinating family meals, it would have been too much to plan alone.”

“It was raining when we arrived, but nobody minded. The kids were hugging the donkey, hand feeding baby goats with bottles, getting soaked, and loving every minute of it.”
Another favorite experience was traveling through the Gap of Dunloe, beginning in jaunting cars and ending with a boat ride and castle visit.
