We were all excited to see 2020 end, and Pantone attempted to capture that ray of hope with its 2021 Colors of the Year: Illuminating yellow and Ultimate Gray. While the gray provides strength and foundation, the yellow is meant to symbolize warmth and optimism.
We’re not particularly partial to gray scenery, but we were inspired by Illuminating’s sunny hue. To celebrate the picks and an (eventual) return to travel in 2021, we’ve found 11 places around the world that encapsulate a warm, yellow color.
