This Summer, Explore America’s Iconic National Parks with Inspirato

America’s national parks are an enduring symbol of the country’s rugged beauty, a slice of wilderness forever untamed. And for the first time ever, Inspirato members can explore it for themselves within the comfort of a guided experience through the club.

The Yellowstone and Grand Teton Adventure 2020 offers Inspirato members the opportunity to discover the pristine wilderness that awaits within two of the United States’ most iconic national parks: Yellowstone and Grand Teton. Through guided hikes, safaris, rafting, and more, members can truly immerse themselves in nature. Falling within the first week of August, it’s a perfect fit for precious family time before the kids head back to school.

“Members are always looking for adventurous options and more opportunities to travel with their families over the summer, and finding unique programs that they may not feel comfortable doing on their own,” said Kylee Glaser, Inspirato’s director of experiences. “So we’ve taken all of that feedback into consideration to design a program where members don’t have to think about any of the details.”

The five-day experience begins in Yellowstone National Park, where members will sleep beneath the stars in a Private Inspirato Camp, designed specifically for the club. Each tent boasts a private bathroom with a running toilet and a hot-water shower. Members can look forward to a chef-prepared dinner around the fire each evening, and s’mores for dessert. Plus, the tents can be customized according to any group’s sleeping preferences, like the addition of bunk beds for the kids.

“Members will be completely removed from the real world in a remote setting—they’ll really be able to get out and enjoy taking in the beautiful scenery,” Glaser said.

And any worries of being out in the wilderness can be assuaged with the help of our two guides, who boast more than 20 years of experience. With their expertise leading the way, members will explore the park’s can’t-miss highlights, from the wildlife-rich Lamar Valley to the famed geysers, including Old Faithful. Guided safaris and hikes allow unparalleled access to the beauty within Yellowstone.

After three days exploring there, members will transfer to neighboring Grand Teton National Park, where they’ll partake in a private stargazing experience with expert astronomers before retiring to luxe accommodations within the Teton Mountain Lodge and Spa. The next day’s adventures include whitewater rafting and an incredible dinner, set against the backdrop of the sun sinking behind the park’s iconic peaks.

The next morning, the experience concludes with a private hot air balloon ride at sunrise, offering unparalleled views of the Tetons, before members depart for the airport.

“We thought it would be a really special way to tie everything up,” Glaser said.

There are only a few spots left—but don’t worry. Members who miss out can look forward to another national parks experience next year. We won’t give too much away, but think the American Southwest.

After the feedback Glaser’s received for more adventurous experiences, she’s so excited for the 2020 adventure and what’s to come—and thinks members should be, too.

“We’ve never done anything like this before. It’s truly authentic, really allowing members to get away into nature and spend time with their families and other like-minded individuals,” she said. “That’s what makes it special.”
