Location

Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport (AMS) is one of Europe's busiest airports, offering service to cities throughout the world on nearly every major airline. AMS is located approximately 9 miles from the Conservatorium Hotel; you can easily reach the hotel by taking the train from the airport and connecting to tram 5, which stops directly outside. Your concierge can provide detailed instructions for taking the train and tram.

A car is not necessary, as Amsterdam is very pedestrian- and cyclist-friendly—and the Conservatorium Hotel is located just a few blocks from some of the city's biggest sights. Public trams and trains are other convenient options for exploring. If you do drive, please note that additional charges apply for valet parking and the nearest public parking garage is approximately two blocks away. We recommend renting a car through club partner Avis.

one of the best

We have ever stayed at. Unique, excellent service, our suite was big and bathroom was huge. Close to everything. FYI I didn’t realize it until the last day but they said breakfast was included.

Fantastic Fall trip to Amsterdam

We just returned from a 6-night Pass trip to Amsterdam NL. We stayed at the historic Conservatorium Hotel. It's a architectural masterpiece and conveniently located within museum district (5-10 minute walk to everything)!

Amsterdam is so picturesque and full of colorful homes, endless canals and bridges. We did most of the "must-do" tourist stops (Anne Frank House, Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum, Heineken brewery, etc).

The Fall weather was perfect for sightseeing on foot, and jumped on the Hop-on/Off bus & boat canal tours when we got tired. Plenty of fantastic cafes with awesome food and bier ;-) I would also recommend booking private transportation from/to the airport/hotel with "Welcome Pickups" -- they were very prompt and professional.

We loved visiting Amsterdam and can't wait to go back. Thanks Inspirato!!

Room a disappointment but great location

The Conservatorium is a beautiful hotel, with outstanding concierge service in a very user friendly location. It’s across the street from the museum and easy to walk to most sites. Vondel park is close and I wish we would have had more time to spend there.

The room was a big disappointment. We based our decision on the description and pictures. What was described was a large bathroom however it was very small and would only accommodate one person at a time. The room showed a small sitting area with a couch, what we had was a wood bench that our luggage sat on. I would have appreciated if Inspirato accurately reflected what we were reserving

Fantastic Amsterdam hotel - near museums

Had a great trip to Amsterdam and stayed at the Hotel Conservatorium which is right down the street from the Rijksmuseum and across the street from Van Gogh. Great location. Hotel was impeccable. Staff at concierge were fantastic.

Amazing hotel

suite is a bit odd with steep stairs to get to the bedroom, and the shower is on the lower level. However, the hotel is really special and in a great location
