Quick Trip

We had a quick trip to the Nizuc before heading to another resort for a concert.

This resort is beautiful - the service is fantastic and the room was very comfortable with a great view.

We ate at several of the restaurants and all of our meals were delicious.

We will be back for a longer stay soon!

Relaxing time in Mexico

We had a really nice time at NIZUC. used the transportation from the hotel - highly recommend that. Never left the property, food really good and accommodations very nice. (Master suite - has its own pool - which was very warm and nice.) Beach isn't crowded and since there isn't really a public access - there's no people wandering around trying to sell you stuff! Nice fitness center and very friendly staff.

Outstanding Resort + Experience

My wife and I celebrated our 33rd wedding anniversary by spending a week at Nizuc. It was the first trip we taken since COVID and the first real vacation in over 3 years. The resort lived up to its reputation and we now consider it one of our "Top 5". Everything was impeccable - accommodations, food, service, cleanliness, safety. As we knew we'd return, we asked the resort if a transfer to a private pool pavilion villa for the last half of our stay could be arranged as we wanted to experience that room type. There was one available and they were happy to accommodate, even packing/moving our items. The master suite was great; however, we preferred the private pool pavilion villa. It's your own private oasis - one day we never left the villa! The only comment would be that it is a family resort so you do have some small children here/there. However, the resort is spread out enough + there are adult only sections so it wasn't a nuisance. Other reviews mentioned the cost of food. Yes, it's a bit pricey - on par with New York but less than London. Bottom line, we loved the resort and will return. Final note, our Inspirato Care Team was great.

Nizuc Master Suite

My fiance and I just spent a week at NIZUC and had a great experience. I always appreciate when reviewers give a lot of detail so here goes.

Pros

1. The room was very nice and very well appointed. we have previously stayed at Banyan Tree and NIZUC seems newer, fresher and cleaner.

2. Though carts were very plentiful, usually waiting at the elevator to take us anywhere, it was only a 3 minute walk to the spa/fitness facility and about a 7-8 minute walk to the lobby/restaurants. I never had to call for a cart (again unlike Banyan Tree). Though I tipped sometimes, it genuinely didn't seem to be expected.

3. The "butler" team was absolutely exceptional. I didn't know what to expect with that title, but basically every need such as spa times, restaurant reservations, champagne in room, car service changes etc were handled quickly and with great communication.

4. The spa was one of the best I have been to (I'm very picky about spas) with great amenities, different pools and water treatments and the massage I had (Thai) was very good also.

5. On-sire restaurants were extremely good and in a beautiful setting.

6. Beautiful beach and pools and the free activities were nice.

7. We would highly suggest Tora as an off-site restaurant. Good food and a really fun and energy filled vibe. We went on a Monday and it felt like Saturday.

Cons (honestly none that matter much)

1. For us, the mosquitoes were bothersome especially in the evening. We have that "special" blood type.

2. The internet seemed a little spotty especially for my fiance who kept getting kicked off on her Iphone 8. My 11 seemed to fare better and my computer was ok.

3. On one day at the beach, the service was a bit slow but all other days were very good.

Overall, we were very please and would definitely return.

A slice of paradise!!!

NIZUC was beautiful! Having always stayed in Mayakoba we decided to try something new. We booked the master suite for valentines weekend and we couldn’t have asked for more. Beautiful views and the suite was gorgeous! Book a private dinner on the pier, so romantic. Flowers, champagne, sunset with candles. It was beautiful and so romantic. Private cabanas on the water. For a second it felt like we were in Bali. It was so private and so peaceful. The food was outstanding. The grilled fish and shrimp tacos poolside were amazing. Ask for their habanero oil if you like spice, I’d bottle it up and take it home. The toro tasting at the sushi restaurant is a MUST! It’s off menu but you get a chefs tasting and it’s as good as the toro in Japan, I promise! We can’t wait to return to this beautiful hotel.
