Fresh Things to Do

Featured Activity

  • Dining in Dana Point

Much of the premium dining in Orange County is situated along seven miles of coastal bluffs in scenic Dana Point.

Ramos House. In the heart of the Los Rios Historic District in San Juan Capistrano sits the Ramos House. The herbs used in the dishes here are grown right outside in the garden. Handmade ice cream is churned in their backyard each day. Visit for brunch and try the crab hash with bacon scrambled eggs and citrus cream.

Stella's Serious Italian Restaurant. For a quiet, intimate dinner, visit the small dining room at Stella's. Their menu features goodies such as sesame crusted ahi tuna and linguini tossed with fresh clams. Save room for their famous cannolis.

Stonehill Tavern. Inside Monarch Beach Resort is a Forbes FourStar rated establishment with a fireside dining room. Best known for Chef Michael Mina's signature dish, lobster pot pie, the restaurant sources its ingredients regionally. Wine aficionados will relish the collection of more than 400 bottles, recently recognized by Wine Spectator in 2014.

Blazing sunsets, gentle waves and golden sun-kissed beaches will greet you just about any time you visit.
