Location

You will fly into Denver International Airport (DEN), located about 40 minutes from the Halcyon. Your hotel concierge can arrange for a rental car reservation or for private transportation. You can also take the high-speed light rail service from the airport to downtown Denver’s historic Union Station, at which point you would then need a taxi or ride-share for the brief trip to the hotel.

Once on-site, Halcyon offers complimentary luxury transportation within a 5-mile radius, so it's easy to explore downtown Denver. Additionally, the city is pedestrian-friendly and has plenty of ride-shares, taxis, and public transit. If you would like to get out of the city and enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery, we recommend renting a car through Club partner Avis. not luxury

Run down. For example, AC is loud and doesn’t cool the room well. Cute hotel but dated. Very nice people and good restaurant. Not good coffee.

Be aware this is not at all how the room looks. It’s dark with a small door to a closed in patio without couches

Great hotel & area--But beware of room selection

We really enjoyed our stay at the Halcyon. We were here with our adult kids for a family wedding and loved the neighborhood and biking on the nearby Cherry Creek trail. The hotel has a cool vibe, nice amenities, such as free coffee, wine/beer in the afternoon, use of bikes, a small rooftop pool, and great service. BUT be wary if you choose a terrace room as we did (room 312). Our terrace faced an electrical pole in front and the side of an office building to the side with a recycling dumpster on the ground floor so while on the terrace we heard the occasional sound of crashing bottles. Outside of the room location, we really enjoyed the hotel.

Great Denver Getaway

Halcyon has a super location in Cherry Creek North and you don't need a vehicle to access numerous shopping and dining destinations. The hotel staff was warm, friendly and very accommodating. We enjoyed the rooftop bar and pool as well as the available bicycles to ride around the neighborhood and the Cherry Creek Bike Path. We will certainly be returning!
