Travel Tips

Weather

  • Forecasting Your Gateway Canyons Vacation

The weather in Gateway is beautiful every month of the year. Colorado receives approximately 300 days of sunshine per year, so even when there is a chill in the air, the sky is generally sparkling. Summers are mild, cool and dry; fall is crisp with changing leaves; and spring is bright and cool. Winter can be frosty with plenty of snow for winter sports. Thanks to its location on a plateau between canyons, Gateway is generally warm and mild in the spring and summer months. As with any Colorado vacation, it's best to pack layers for your visit.
