Location

The closest airport is Portland International Jetport (PWM), less than 30 miles from the White Barn Inn. Another option is Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), which is about 84 miles away.

While you won’t need a car to get around town and the concierge can arrange a private taxi from the airport, Maine has several scenic byways and the coast is beautiful, so you may want a car to explore on your own. We recommend renting a car through club partner Avis. Inspirato members receive exclusive benefits through the invitation-only Avis President’s Club.

Wonderful Spring Getaway

This was my wife's and my first trip to Maine, and the White Barn Inn was a wonderful introduction to the area. We enjoyed taking advantage of the complimentary Mercedes vehicles, relaxing with a cocktail by the fire pit, experiencing the exceptional dining, and exploring nearby Kennebunk, which is just a short distance from the property.

Loved White Barn Inn!

We loved our trip to Kennebunkport, Maine. The White Barn Inn was such a cute boutique Inn, and the service was impeccable! From the concierge to the staff, to the food, it was a fabulous stay. We enjoyed a cute basket outside our door each morning, filled with coffee, fresh cream, and fresh mini pastries, to a supply of chocolate covered blueberries, cheese popcorn, and lobster gummy‘s in our room each day, being restocked daily. Turn down service was great, and included some type of cookie or chocolate each evening. There were also fresh s’mores out by the fire pit each evening. We also enjoyed the complimentary use of three (3) different Mercedes (G-wagon, Maybach, and AMG) each day. That was a highlight ;) Bikes are available each day, and it’s an easy ride into town. Overall, an exceptional stay, and the restaurant on property was absolutely amazing! We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Inn

We loved this place! It's a beautiful, quaint inn that's a short bike ride to the heart of Kennebunkoport. The accommodations were lovely and the restaurant was absolutely one of the best in the area.

Be mindful that there is no workout facility or hot tub. This is standard for the area. Kennebunkport and the surrounding areas are meant to be explored.

The Franciscan Monastery across the street is worth a stroll.Rachel Carson trail near the Inn is a short distance away and a fantastic hike.photo that accompanies review number 2photo that accompanies review number 3photo that accompanies review number 4photo that accompanies review number 5

Room was not what was pictured

Although our room was very nice, it was not one of the renovated rooms depicted in the photo on the Inspirato website for this property.
