Location

Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) is located at San José del Cabo, Baja California Sur, Mexico. The airport serves the Los Cabos area: San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. Most major airlines offer service here, with frequent flights from Los Angeles, Phoenix, San Francisco, Dallas, Houston, San Diego, Denver, Chicago, and Seattle. Without traffic, the Cape Hotel is about a 40-minute drive from the airport.

The concierge desk at the hotel can arrange transportation during your stay upon your request or you can rent a vehicle from Inspirato partner Avis beforehand. We do recommend exploring the nearby towns and all that Los Cabos has to offer.

Our Stay at the Cape, in Cabo May 2018

Last minute trip for myself and my 2 boys age 21 & 25. Called Inspirato and immediately got booked in sunny, warm Cabo. Picture perfect weather! We stayed the first 2 nights at The Cape Hotel. Smaller, more intimate hotel, modern and upscale. We took an amazing cooking class learned how to make ceviche, tuna poke and grilled bass.

Would definitely go back. We then headed to the Gran Solmar walking distance to town and although much larger and busier, still really enjoyed all they had to offer! Views at both places were awesome. Downside for me is you really can't swim in the ocean unless you go by boat.

The Cape was AWESOME!

The Cape is the perfect balance between luxury and chic. My wife and I took 7 friends there and could not have been more pleased. We had a villa which was huge and had a well appointed kitchen and extra half bath. Everyone else was in standard king rooms but they all loved it as well. Very cool lay down swings on every balcony were a huge hit. The staff was very welcoming and super attentive. Picture this - Ritz Carlton service meets the Delano cool. Every room has a great view of the ocean and the Cabo arch. We will be back ASAP.

Relaxing trip to Cabo.

The Cape was wonderful. Hip hotel. Right on surfers beach. Fun to watch the surfers. We also had whales 100 feet offshore right in front of the hotel. The staff were wonderful. The concierge and their team were extremely helpful with dinner reservations, taxi rides, and travel back-and-forth from the airport. The rooms are beautiful. They have great views of the ocean, Cabo San Lucas at night, and the arch across the water. You really can't beat the views from the rooftop lounge and the glass box café. No negatives to this hotel. Pools, spa, and fitness facilities were all excellent. I would recommend eating at Nick San, manta, and flora farm.
