Up & Coming Luxury

The location is not as remote as you might expect. We had a relatively short flight into Charlotte and a 2 hour drive to the property. Everyone who works at the property is very friendly and ready to accommodate your needs. There are a number of activities making it a great spot for outdoor enthusiasts young and old. There were many families with kids of all ages and a number of couples (we went over July 4th).

The accommodations are very nice. My husband and I stayed in a Lodge room that was very spacious. Considering the whole property is expansive and there are many different accommodations to choose from we felt like it was a very small resort with not many guests (it was sold out over the days we were there).

The food was good, not great. I have a few dietary restrictions and I was able to refine menu selections with ease. We were very excited for the Stable Saloon dinner with live Blue Grass. Unfortunately this was the only time the Service was not good, and the food was barely warm and super salty. Also, the band did not show up and no one told us until we asked when the music was starting!

They are in the process of building pickle courts and will start on a new outdoor infinity pool. Prim, as they call it, is a nice resort if you want to feel like you are away from it all. As we looked around and spoke with the staff it seems like Auberge is building it up to be more luxurious.

Another amazing Inspirato vacation

The best part of belonging to Inspirato is getting to vacation in places that my wife and I didn't even know existed. This vacation is another perfect example. We wanted to vacation somewhere that was visually beautiful, relaxing, dog friendly and allowed me to enjoy a little golf. Clearly not an easy match but the Primland Resort Virginia checked all of the boxes. The property is absolutely beautiful. The suite we stayed in was exactly what you expect at a 5 star resort. The golf course was awesome. And our 2 fur babies had so much fun walking the trails. In fact, there were quite a few guests who brought their dogs to the resort.
