Amazing Views on Mykonos

Katikies Mykonos is a small luxury Hotel on the West Coast of Mykonos. This is about a 15 mins drive back to the main town of Mykonos Town (or Chora). The car service from the hotel was very convenient as there are few taxis (and rates change) on the island.

The views are amazing looking out at the island of Delos. While the hotel is not on the beach, it is a short walk to a few beach clubs from the hotel.

We were frequently told that Mykonos is the young, party island, we found the Katikies Mykonos to be nicely quite and relaxing. The town has plenty of nice rooftop restaurants and bars. There is something for everyone from the large beach and dance clubs to small bars for a quiet drink watching the sunset.

Service and food at the hotel was fantastic as you would expect from a hotel of this caliber. Highly recommended.

beautiful

Overall a gorgeous hotel/location. Breakfast was included daily and was very nice and the staff was lovely. A few things to note that I wish I had known prior to booking though. The 2 pools on the property as well as the jetted private soaking tub with the rooms are not heated and they are cold! Think garden hose filled pool kind of cold. Not my jam especially at the end of the season when average temps are mid 70's. STAIRS!!! lots and lots of stairs here. This was fine for me but if you have a hard time this hotel would be impossible for a lot of people. My room was on the 5th floor which meant from the hotel entrance to room I had to climb 9 flights of stairs that averaged 10 steps per flight, I saw a lot of people struggle with them plus the 2nd pool is located at the very top so another 4 flights to go up. The views though made it worth it. The hotel said they would charge $100 for airport pick up but a taxi was $25 euro and if you wanted to go into town it was $40 BUT you can jump on the bus which the stop is located right next to the hotel and in 15 minutes youre there for a $1.80! Great hidden beach within walking distance from hotel but you need to navigate down a steep rock slope to access it which made it less crowded and only a couple littles ones there.

Amazing Service

We had a superb stay at the Katikies Mykonos. Although the design and flow of the property as well as the ambiance did not suit our taste what this property delivers is amazing service. The staff are exceptional and are worth the stay alone. We also stayed at the Katikies Santorini which is an amazing property combined with amazing service.
