Location

Fly into Nashville International Airport (BNA). Virtually all major airlines are accessible. The best way to get around Nashville is by car. Neighborhoods and attractions stretch from one end of the city to the other. It’s not likely that you’d be able to see everything on foot. Club partner Avis and your concierge are happy to assist with a rental car.

Amazing Trip

We had an amazing trip to Nashville! It was our 1st time and what a fun city! We stayed at The Thompson Hotel which is located in The Gulch. It was about a 15 minute walk to downtown and Broadway but we didn’t mind at all. Hotel concierges were very helpful in suggesting things to do and making some excellent dining reservations. There is an awesome roof top bar open all day with great views of the city and The Marsh House restaurant has a delicious breakfast .

Across the street is Biscuit Love but go early

We did The Grand Ole Opry and bought Passes for the Old Time Trolley through our hotel and toured The Ryman, Country Music Hall of Fame and Nelson ‘s Greenbriar Distillery. All not to be missed!

Can’t wait to go back again someday!

Nashville Weekend

Great location in the Gulch. Clean, modern rooms with wonderful service. Roof deck bar / lounge was extremely lively on the weekend and great location to shops and restaurants in the Gulch. 15 minute walk to Broadway.

Thompson Nashville

The rooms are very nice, housekeeping did a good job, the location is great and within walking distance to a lot of destinations.

If you drive the valet parking is infuriating. It is hard to check in with a car. There is no where to pull to the curb and valet is clueless to anyone trying to check in around all the buses they have parked out front. When you call valet to retrieve your car it can be anywhere from 5 minutes to 30 minutes.

Hi Kandace, welcome home from Nashville! I am happy to hear you enjoyed your stay at the Thompson Nashville and were satisfied with the room, service and location. I appreciate you providing honest feedback regarding valet. I have passed this information along to the team that manages our relationship with this hotel and they have shared it with them. Thank you.

Thompson Hotel

The staff at the Thompson were both friendly and efficient.

The Concierge assisted us in getting some great reservations.

The Rooftop Bar, A.Jackson, is a happening place. We actually ran into some Nashville friends there.

The John Besh restaurant at the hotel, The Marsh, was great as was a steakhouse that was highly recommended called Kayne Prime.

Very Hip Hotel.

This was a great hotel in a great location. Very hip vibe. Great rooftop bar and coffee shop in hotel. Did not have a chance to eat at the restaurant so can not comment on that. The room was huge and had a great view! My only complaint is that the room did not have a dresser/drawers. I like to unpack my suitcase and there was no place to put my stuff.
