We do not recommend renting a car, as the hotel’s central location makes it easy to explore on foot and parking in the French Quarter is limited.

not worth the money

We stayed here for a weekend trip and it was not worth the $1k a night. The accommodations were ok (not the cleanest) , service was MEH (we would ask for things and they never came). Our friends stayed at the boutique hotel next door and it was much more luxurious.
