Wonderful Experience

We loved everything about our experience at Baccarat. The room was well-appointed and spacious, and extremely comfortable. The highlight of our trip was the pre-arrival planning from the hotel concierge team; they secured us several dining reservations that would have been otherwise impossible to obtain. They were extremely communicative and organized. We highly recommend staying here and will do so again on return trips to NYC.

Spa was Awful

I recently stayed at this property and overall had a wonderful experience. The hotel staff throughout the property were kind, welcoming, and professional — truly what you'd expect from a luxury experience.

However, I did want to share one unfortunate part of my visit. When I arrived, my suite wasn't ready, and I was kindly directed to the spa to freshen up before an important meeting I had in an hour. Unfortunately, the way I was treated by the spa staff was disappointing and out of step with the rest of the hotel. I was made to feel uncomfortable and, frankly, unwelcome — something I've never experienced at a property of this level. It was embarrassing and felt dismissive, as though I didn't belong, despite staying in one of the hotel's suites.

That said, aside from that interaction, the rest of the stay was lovely, and I do appreciate the hospitality from the rest of the team. I hope management takes note so that future guests have a consistently positive experience across all areas of the property.

Classic NY Experience at the Beautiful Baccarat

The hotel is fabulous, the prestige suite was luxe, and the bar area has a terrific vibe, particularly around 5:00pm on weekdays. Also the location, just off of 5th Ave on 53rd is just about perfect. We went to the St. James Theater to see Sunset Blvd, which was terrific and felt very NY. The next night, after a wonderful dinner at The Odeon, we went to The Jazz Club at the Aman Hotel, just a block or two away from our hotel. The jazz band was world class and the "speak-easy" environment was super-cool. And to use a golf metaphor, the shopping was great as always, and my wife shops from the black tees:)

NYC Baccarat

We used to love staying here, but will not be back. So disappointed to not be serving breakfast and even when asking for morning coffee service (in the room), with some pastries, all they have is toast. Plenty of great places to stay in NYC and this one, for the price, is now missing it.
