Wonderful Experience

We loved everything about our experience at Baccarat. The room was well-appointed and spacious, and extremely comfortable. The highlight of our trip was the pre-arrival planning from the hotel concierge team; they secured us several dining reservations that would have been otherwise impossible to obtain. They were extremely communicative and organized. We highly recommend staying here and will do so again on return trips to NYC.

Bacarrat NYC Weekend Visit

the Baccarat is appointed beautifully.... they have thought of everything. the location is exceptional... across the street from MOMA and around the corner from the heart of midtown. the concierge were outstanding.

Gorgeous hotel - Service needs some improvement

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous and has, in our opinion, the best bar in the city. The service in the grand saloon is excellent, attentive, effortless and luxurious.

The rooms are stunning and have excellent detail. You can see a great deal of effort went into the design and build of the rooms. The service needs some improvement for a hotel at this price point, however. The bedside tablet did not connect to the internet, and this was needed to control the shades and temperature. I called to the lobby to get help, but no one was able to come for quite some time and we had to leave, so we just skipped it.

Also, the check-in process seemed haphazard and the person at reception seemed confused.

The pool is very relaxing, although there's really only room for 6 people there, so I'm not sure what would happen if it became more crowded.

Overall, the hotel is very intimate, quiet and a great getaway. But for this price point, the Park Hyatt provides a level of service that is fluid and experienced.

As we checked out, I did inform them of the issues with the tablet and they VERY graciously removed almost all our room service charges as a courtesy. It was not necessary, but greatly appreciated.

I would return, because the hotel is so beautiful, but I'm hoping they will work out their kinks since it is a new hotel.

I loved their hotel room phone - it cuts it down to the basics.Their glassware is top notch. I wouldn't mind using this everyday.
