No better place to stay in NYC at Christmas

Nobody does it better than the Lotte NYC at Christmas. The location of the hotel is outstanding and the decor was over-the-top and beautiful. Loved the Winter Bar every afternoon in the courtyard by the Christmas tree. The rooms were really large, especially for a New York hotel, and well appointed as you would expect. The only mildly disappointing aspect of the room was the tub/shower combo with low water pressure. Also, remember to request a coffee maker in the room when you arrive. We didn't get a chance to eat at the hotel restaurant, Villard, but wished we could have. And if you get the opportunity to grab a drink at Rarities (a bar in the hotel mezzanine) it was truly one-of-a-kind experience that was a highlight of our entire trip.

not great service

The hotel was lovely but a little dated. The service was not great. The hotel was hosting several of the NBA draft prospects so they may have been overwhelmed with that but we had to ask for our room to be serviced. When they came to service it at 7pm they did not clean up very well. We called guest services a few times for things and were met with agitation. Overall, we felt like we paid a lot of money for a good hotel and service that was sub par.

New York Trip Nov. 30-Dec.3rd '23

We had a blast. I went with my daughter and 11 year old granddaughter.

We went to MJ the musical. Took a guided tour of the 9/11 museum and attended the Rockettes Christmas show.

The folks at the Lotte Palace were great.

Very Nice Hotel - Convenient to Broadway

Very nice hotel, nice location to access Broadway theater. Attentive staff. Spacious (for NYC!) room - we had a double queen - with a cool view overlooking St. Patrick's. FYI the hotel bar/restaurant was not opened during our visit (I assume due to COVID issues i.e. staffing).

Inspirato always delivers

This hotel was no exception. Loved the location in midtown but away from Times Square. The room was big and clean. Because of COVID, no room service, but that's par for the course these days. Service was great from the staff. The view was unbelievable - directly over St. Patrick's Cathedral. Would definitely stay here again.
