The closest airport to the hotel is Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport (OPO), about 9.5 miles away from Le Monumental Palace. Additionally, a train is available to take you from the airport to the hotel, or your concierge can arrange transportation.

Le Monumental Palace is ideally located in the heart of Porto—activities, sights, and dining are within walking distance and public transportation is abundant. If you would still prefer to rent a car, we recommend renting through Club partner Avis.

Couples Trip

The hotel, accommodations and staff were all perfect. Unfortunately, we arrived a day late due to a country wide electrical black out in Spain and Portugal. No fault of the hotel. To make matters worse, our luggage was lost. Cancelled a dinner at the hotel's Michelin restaurant, because we didn't have proper attire. The hotel staff was wonderful in assisting us to make the most of our stay. Offered that we dine, despite not having proper attire. We declined.
