Bedroom 5 is a detached casita with its own kitchenette and bathroom.
Bedroom 6 is also detached from the main house, as it is on the roof and accessed by the exterior spiral staircase.
Please note that this residence includes many stairs.
One section of the pool is shallow and not protected against the three-story drop.
This residence is perched above a public beach.
The Beach Club, the on-site dining establishment, is an exceptional option for both lunch and dinner, offering room service as well.
The nearest golf course is 30 to 45 minutes away from this residence; contact your Destination Concierge to make reservations.

You'll fly into Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport (PVR). Punta de Mita is approximately an hour from the Puerto Vallarta airport. From the United States, Alaska Airlines flies direct non-stop flights to Puerto Vallarta from Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle; American Airlines flies from Dallas-Fort Worth; Delta Airlines from Salt Lake City, Atlanta, and New York; Frontier Airlines features year-round flights from Chicago and Denver; United Airlines from Chicago, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles and Newark; U.S. Airways from Phoenix; and Virgin America from San Francisco.

Perfect for Families/Groups

We were intrigued by all the top reviews of this home and we would have to agree!! This home was a fantastic set up for a relaxing week. We had my parents at 79/80 years old to my brother’s kids at ages 5 and 7. The pool was great to use and I can’t express how easy it was to get around. The beach club with additional pools and the ocean is a 60-90 second walk directly from the house. The steps can be a lot with a lot of levels of the house, and my dad has a tougher time getting around. So we had him walk down to the beach club and we would take the golf cart around to the beach club and then escort him back to the house since the entrance to the home is at the top of the home (going down stairs was much easier for him). We did multiple chef meals and all of them were incredible. Eduardo was fantastic on site during the whole week and helped us book a last minute boat ride for the family.

Beautiful property

Casa Mariposa is a beautiful house with outrageously stunning views. The property is on hillside, just steps to the beach club and white sand beach below. Eduardo, our concierge was very helpful and always responsive, and Giovanni, a young chef, made us an elaborate and beautifully presented breakfast each morning. The house is expansive, at least as lovely as the online photos suggest. We had frequent whale sighting from the kitchen, bedroom, patio...

A day trip to the Mariatas Island and the Hidden Beach, including snorkeling, was a highlight, and I would highly recommend.

Mariposa Update

It has been a few years since I stayed in Mariposa. This was probably my 3rd or 4th time. The updates to the furniture helped to improve the property significantly. The update to the property bring it up to a higher standard. Eduardo is always very good. The chef service from Hectors in Punta Mita was also new. They did an excellent job on a dinner for us over the previous catering group.

Great house - close to beach!

Great house for a family trip. The beach is steps away and the beach club was great. Restaurant recommendations by our hosts were all very good and the breakfast and meals we did at the house were excellent - highly recommend.

Excellent!

The staff and beach club are terrific! Thank you, Israel, for always anticipating and exceeding our expectations! The house is very spacious with lots of rooms, more rooms, and a few hide always…..Hospitality was always on, beach club provided great access for the beach and any meals outside the home…we rented The Alley Cat 60’ boat for the day and our family of 10 had a blast watching whales, (tails up!), dolphin, and blue footed booby’s….had a simple but perfect meal on board, (the boat will easily hold 75 people!)…. Our in house chef’s were excellent and the trip went off without a hitch! Would definitely return, and don’t miss Taco Jr down the road for PV’s best tacos!
