Location

With a flight into San Francisco Airport (SFO), you'll be approximately a 30- to 40-minute ride to Hotel Drisco. Alternately, Oakland International Airport (OAK) is about a 45-minute drive away. The hotel offers chauffeur service to SFO for an additional charge, with rates varying by time of day. Transportation from SFO and to/from other airports is also available, but please note that these additional charges are higher and reservations are required.

Additionally, Hotel Drisco provides complimentary one-way chauffeur service within the city limits of San Francisco. This service is available every day from 7–11 a.m. Reservations are highly recommended.

We do not generally suggest renting a car in San Francisco as the city is very walkable, but if you are planning to make day trips, we recommend renting a car through club partner Avis. Inspirato members receive exclusive benefits through the invitation-only Avis President’s Club.

Fantastic location, staff and amenities

My daughter and her boyfriend absolutely enjoyed their stay at Hotel Drisco!

The evening drinks and appetizers delighted them. Of course!

They appreciated the staff moving their car to follow city parking regulations for them.

Great Find

You will not be disappointed with this place. Rooms are spacious and outfitted with many little things I don't find at the most expensive hotels (mouthwash, daily water, tootbrush, etc). Staff is amazing and the included breakfast and nightly wine with appetizers you will want to attend. It is quiet and small located in the Pacific Heights area.

Wonderful Upscale Boutique Hotel

Hotel Drisco takes the small luxury boutique hotel category to another level. First of all the property is located in the middle of the residential upscale neighborhood of Pacific Heights perched high on a hill top. The Hotel offers top notch service. The lounge room, where both a complimentary breakfast is served in the morning and a wine reception is held each night is a "don't miss" amenity of the hotel. Loved sitting in this room every morning for coffee and breakfast and the offerings were first rate.

I have been to San Francisco many times and have stayed in a lot of upscale hotels, mainly in the financial district. However, after having stayed at the Hotel Drisco for the first time, it will be hard to stay anywhere else in the city next trip.

Loved this hotel!

New Favorite SF Hotel

We chose Hotel Drisco because they had a two bedroom suite available for the time we needed to be in SF. The hotel is beautifully maintained and the staff is beyond compare. They truly made us feel as if we were the most important people in the hotel. They arranged airport transport, made reservations for meals, suggested outside activities, and gave us suggested walks near the hotel.

They do not have a full restaurant, but the complimentary breakfast buffet included made to order omelets as well as an extensive hot and cold cereal bar and pastries, yogurt, fruits, etc.

Their wine social each afternoon included a selection of three wines and enough appetizers to count as a light dinner.

Lovely and quiet urban retreat

We loved this boutique hotel and stayed for five nights. The stafff was competent and discreet, the breakfast food fresh and varied and the neigborhood is an architectural dream. We walked miles through the Presidio, down to the Marina and just through the Pacific Heights neigborhood. Our room was small but very well appointed.
