Location

Inspirato SoHo at The Dominick is located approximately 40 minutes from any of the three major New York airports: LaGuardia (LGA), John F. Kennedy (JFK), or Newark (EWR). Travelers from East Coast cities such as Boston, Providence, New Haven, or the Washington D.C. areas can also travel by train to Penn Station, which is only two miles from the hotel. We do not recommend driving in New York; the city’s extensive public transportation system and abundance of taxis make getting around without a car easy. Even better, your hotel is located in the heart of Lower Manhattan with endless restaurants, shops, galleries, and activities within walking distance, and an easy cab or subway ride to world-famous New York locales Times Square, Broadway, Central Park, Wall Street, and the One World Trade Center.

Last minute staycation

Booked this last minute and got a great rate. Maybe not a central location if you're looking to do more touristy things but there's easy walkable access to the West Side highway and all the piers along the water and tons of great restaurants, shops, bakeries etc if you walk a couple of blocks into Soho. The room had an incredible view and the staff were all warm and helpful.

Great SOHO base in NYC

Hotel in general and rooms in particular are beautiful....well appointed with amazing river and city views. Delicious breakfast. Perfectly located near the best shopping and dining streets in SOHO.

NYC Getaway

My husband and I spent a week at The Dominic Hotel which was a wonderful spot well located in the SoHo area with an incredible view of the Hudson River skyline looking across to New Jersey. We were celebrating a granddaughter's NYU graduation, and the IFC theatrical release of a documentary film with which we were involved. We loved walking along the Hudson shoreline, appreciating the extensive renovations and beautification of piers and surrounding areas. The walk is approx. 18 miles long -- we walked about 8 miles of the area. The "Little Island" was a total wonder, The Whitney Museum a fabulous place to visit, and we enjoyed walking the length of the High Line from the Whitney Museum stairway to the rail yard, another incredible project developed via public/private partnerships. NYC is a fabulous place to visit. Great restaurants and street life. The Dominic is a great place to stay. Go if you can.

Outstanding Service

Some of the best service we have experienced at a hotel. The staff was top notch and ready for anything. One of the doormen even gave us his metro card to use for the day.

Location was great in Soho - very close to many restaurants and activities including several metro stops.

The view from the room was a showstopper! Truly a one of a kind view of New York! Rooms were quiet and private - couldn't hear the other guests at all hours.

Our only negative was the pre-planning service with the concierge. We found it very difficult to work with them and the pricing was significantly higher than if you book tickets yourself.

Overall, loved it! And with so much to see and do in NYC, hope to get back there soon.
