The dry season (mid-November to April) is as arid as it sounds, with hillsides turning brown and dirt roads becoming extremely dusty. The rainy season (May to mid-November), however, is lush and lovely, with sunny mornings and brief showers in the afternoon. Even during the rainy season, though, the sun shines often, the temperatures stay warm and the beaches are less crowded. During the rest of the year, you can expect a tropical climate with the occasional afternoon storm helping to cut the humidity.
