Sonnenalp Experience

All was great. Sonnenalp is well located as you enter the village. The staff there is incredible and the restaurant for breakfast sublime. European atmosphere at the hotel. Vail and Vail Village are fantastic and there are a multitude of great restaurants there (Up the Creek, Mountain Standard, LaTour, Sweet Basils, etc. You just cannot go wrong virtually anywhere. Biking and hiking were fun and there are two golf courses nearby depending on the season. Just wonderful weather, friendly people, a fantastic atmosphere, etc. A can't be beat vacation get away spot. Also, Inspirato has a fantastic hospitality center for members to enjoy with full bar and snacks. Just a wonderful experience all around.

Long weekend at the Sonnenalp in Vail

The Sonnenalp always feels warm and authentic, and a bit rustic. Service is top notch, breakfast is always amazing, and the Spa is an oasis....and the location is perfection. Of course, Vail is Vail....one of the best ski areas in the world and enough fabulous restaurants to keep things interesting for several days. Shopping is somewhat blah, if you are into that sort of thing, but Gorsuch and Axels are always worth a visit.
