The following items are not included in the Safari experience and will be paid for individually by members:

Items of a personal nature (meals at leisure, additional drinks, dry cleaning or laundry not specified in the itinerary, souvenirs, etc.)
Premium brand drinks, champagne, cognacs, cellar wines, cigars, and cigarettes
Gratuities for any tours, activities, or dining booked outside of the group experience
Sightseeing and excursions not specified in the itinerary
Spa appointments
Certain activities and tours at lodges and hotels
International airfare, any additional flights and transfers not specified in the itinerary
National parks and concession fees not specified in the itinerary
Pre- and post-experience hotel nights outside of the itinerary

Emergency medical evacuation insurance is included, but that does not include regular trip insurance, so travel insurance is strongly recommended. Explore our partner Travelex for quotes and additional information.
Members should fly into Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) by 4 pm on August 4th, 2027, and may depart from Kigali International Airport (KGL) any time on August 11, 2027.
The minimum age requirement for this program is 18 as it is best suited for adults.
Airport transfers are included in your package.
Dates, activities and prices are subject to change.
Passports are required and must be valid for six months after your return date from Kenya and Rwanda. We recommend having six consecutive blank pages in your passport.
An ETA is required for travel to Kenya and a visa is required for travel to Rwanda. The experiences team will be in touch with more details as we get closer to the trip.
A yellow fever vaccine is required for this experience. Other vaccines and medications may be recommended when traveling to Africa. We recommend contacting your local physician or visiting the CDC: Kenya and CDC: Rwanda for more information.
There is a limit to the amount of luggage you can bring with you on this experience. Due to the use of small, chartered aircraft, your luggage may not exceed 33 pounds per person. This includes any handbags or carry-on luggage that you are carrying with you on your journey.
It is essential that you only carry soft-sided bags (like duffel bags) with you on your journey (one hard side on your luggage is fine). The cargo holds on the chartered planes are small, and hard-shelled suitcases will not fit and/or fill up the hold very quickly.
This experience includes two gorilla treks per person. Any additional gorilla trekking will come at an additional cost.
Permits for gorilla trekking are nonrefundable.
By booking this Inspirato Only experience, the member represents and warrants that they are physically and otherwise fit to travel. While there are no strenuous activities planned, we will have extensive walking and active tours. We can also not guarantee all restaurants, activities, and tours will be mobility adaptive.
If a certain amount of packages are not booked for this experience, Inspirato will use our discretion to discontinue the program. In this rare instance, we will work with you on alternative travel arrangements.

Additional Information:

Cancellation policy: Within three business days of booking, cancel for a full refund. After three business days, reservations are nonrefundable unless Inspirato is able to resell the package. If the package is resold, the Inspirato member will receive 90% back in Travel Credits. If applicable, this would be refunded four business days after the package is resold. If there is a waitlist for the package type, the reservation is not canceled in the member’s account until the waitlist is notified and a package is resold. Reservations may be canceled at no charge if there is no waitlist and the package will be released on Inspirato.com.
