Please note: This home is located within the Pacifico community, which is gated with security.
Access to the beautiful Pacifico Beach Club is provided with an additional fee of $35 per person, per day. $25 out of the $35 fee paid will go towards food and beverage. Kids 12 and under are free. Beach Club is closed from Oct. 1- 31, for more information, please contact your Care team.
This home is located next to three Inspirato residences Anona, Villa Aracari and Villa Lantana. Please contact your Care team to book multiple residences.

Cancellation policy: The Standard Inspirato Cancellation Policy applies for this property. Please note the Peak Reservation policy applies for Christmas and New Year's weeks and certain other travel dates.
Maximum occupancy: Up to two additional guests are permitted over the stated occupancy at the rate of $50 per guest per night. Additional guests are accommodated on a queen sleeper sofa in the media room.

Great Escape for Large Groups or Families

Our family of 5, including 3 children between 14 and 9, had a fantastic vacation at Monte del Mar. The accommodations and service were next level. Jeni was extremely helpful in selecting our activities and dining plans to ensure we had the perfect Costa Rican experience, and the daily breakfast and snacks provided in the villa were the icing on the cake.

Great Couples Trip

We hosted three other couples at Monte Del Mar and had a fantastic week! The house was a great set up - two very spacious bedrooms, two smaller ones, a media room and fantastic pool deck with the best view. We had yoga/pilates sessions on the deck in the morning and happy hour sunsets in the evening - magical!

Gustavo was meticulous in our pre planning and Jennifer was super helpful as our on site concierge - responding to our messages timely, setting up spur of the moment reservations, and treating us with great care. We enjoyed the morning breakfasts and afternoon snacks - a great optional feature.

The Pacifico neighborhood where the home is located has everything we needed - a cute village with gym, coffee shop, pickleball courts, etc and we enjoyed morning walks through the neighborhood (hilly) and connected forest trail.

Our dinner out choices which we enjoyed and can recommend - Ginger, Hacienda Blu and La Finca (at the Waldorf) as well as Father Rooster for a casual beachfront dinner with live music. Our night eating in with Chef Veronica - fantastic!!

Overall a memorable experience and stay, which showcased Inspirato in a positive manner for our guests.

Pura Vida for Two Weeks!

My husband and I shared two weeks with our son’s family at Monte Del Mar for spring break.

Gustavo was simply excellent in suggesting restaurants, activities, and private chefs suitable for our 12 and 10 year old grandchildren. He never missed a beat and every aspect of the trip proceeded smoothly because of his preparations.

Diego is a superb onsite concierge who saw to our every need on a daily basis. He was available to us for fielding questions and always immediately responsive. Diego has built an incredibly “well - oiled” machine with his house staff as well.

Breakfasts were marvelous every day, attuned to the given activities planned for the family. Neliz and Manuel’s team were efficient, professional, and saw to every detail, from breakfast preparation to attending to daily household upkeep. Their afternoon snacks were a big hit with the grands, particularly Neliz’s chocolate chip cookies!

As long time members of Inspirato, this team is the pinnacle of service and excellence. Thanks for helping us make more wonderful family memories!

Wonderful house and destination

We stayed at Monte Del Mar over Christmas 2025. Family of five with three adult daughters. The home was perfect as we all had our own bedroom and bathroom. Loved the layout of the house. Can sleep 10 if needed. Breakfast every morning was prepared by the housekeeping team and was delicious! They also had snacks ready for us when we returned from our excursions. We ate out every night for dinner. If I did it again I would definitely plan a chef in home dinner. After a long day of being out that would have been nice or even on the first or last night. The home is in a gated community and they give you a bar code to scan at the gate. They do provide shampoo, conditioner and soap. There are also pool and beach towels. The neighborhood was very quiet and serene. Just a heads up - you should rent a car as the neighborhood is very hilly. We did a rainforest tour, coffee and chocolate tour, saw a waterfall all in one day. We also did thermal river, tubing and zip lining course at Rio Perdido which I highly recommend. We did six hour boat trip on Fish Hooks with a BBQ on the beach lunch. So good! Also did Palo Verde boat trip. Our guide from Coco Tours was Jose Joaquin who I highly recommend. Ginger was our favorite restaurant. Gustavo did a wonderful job pre planning and Jeniffer is very communicative and helpful while there. Can’t recommend this house, team and destination enough!

Wonderful spring break week

Such a beautiful home and view! The home is beautifully appointed and beds are very comfortable. Jeniffer the on site concierge was beyond helpful. Responded so quickly to questions and changes in our itinerary. We loved going out on the boat for a day with Gary, spending a day with private guide Joaquim to the National Park, and going into the town - Coco- to experience Costa Rica. Also highly recommend the fish spa, located on the beach, to have your legs and feet rejuvenated (look it up - its amazing).
