Location

It's easy to reach the Dalmatian Coast. Fly into Split Airport (SPU) in Split, about a 50-minute drive away from your residence. You will most likely connect in a major European air hub, such as Frankfurt, Munich, or London. Note that many flights into Split operate seasonally.

To get to your residence from the airport—as well as to explore beaches, the nearby national park, villages and more—we recommend renting a car; Club partner Avis is a great option. Your Destination Concierge is happy to arrange private transportation, as well.

Beautiful location & home, excellent concierge

Overall we really enjoyed our trip to Croatia. Hana Imsirovic was extremely helpful in planning our entire trip. She also checked in with us daily and was very responsive when we had questions. The views were beautiful as Croatia is just beautiful. The home was nice although the bedrooms were smaller than other places we have stayed but the common areas both indoors and out were large and a great place to gather. The resort itself does not have much to do. There is a pool on site in addition to the indoor pool in our villa. We were also able to rent paddleboards to use at the beach. There actually is not a true beach as it is rather rocky and steep, but they do have an access point for swimming and a few chairs on the rocks for sunbathing. There are also no dining options on site and the onsite breakfast option seemed expensive for what is offered, so I would recommend getting groceries for breakfast. There is a cute small town a mile and a half away and Hana can either arrange transportation for you (usually 10 euro each way) or you can walk which is what we did. The town does have a large rocky beach and many restaurants.

I would say this is a vacation for adults or families with older children. We had 4 teens and it was perfect for them, but the resort itself including the layout of the home we stayed in is not set up for young children.

Our Dalmation Coast Trip

We had a fantastic time during our time in Croatia. The Villa is prefectly located to enjoy your time visiting surrounding cities and a short drive or walk to Promishta. Hana the concierge at the unit may be the best we have ever experienced while staying at any property in our time with Inspirato. Her reccomendations were spot on and even when I thought the cost to do a cooking class with my family with Tatiana she said "it is worth every penny, please trust me"! Well we trusted her and our day with Tatiana was well worth it and we look back at that day as one of the high lites of our trip. Additionally please get out on one of the private boats with your family and see the islands around the coast that are like hidden gems across the sea. Our first boat got cancelled but Hana was at her best when she found us a replacement which turned out to be simply stunning. Don't hesitate to spend time in Croatia, we have traveled the world and love the people and the incredible beauty that this country offers. Wonderful trip!

This was my first trip with Inspirato. It did not disappoint! Croatia was beautiful. The house was gorgeous with a panoramic view on the sea. The walking trial along the sea to the town of Primosten was a perfect way to begin each day.

Hana, our concierge, was an incredible help. She set up a tours with knowledgeable local guides, olive oil tasting (an absolute don't miss experience), wine tasting and dinner reservations. It was a wonderful blend of relaxation and activity. The month of May turned out to be a great time to visit with good weather and less tourists to deal with at popular spots. Only negative is that the sea is a bit chilly.

We were perfectly taken care of. I can't wait to return.
