Property is Awesome. Islamorada, Not as Much

I would rate the resort an absolute 5. It is very well layed-out, and I can't think of a single complain. Our unit was perfect, with two decks, and a large outdoor covered area on the ground floor. With two pools and many different beach side chair options, it never felt crowded. Work-out room was impressive given the small size of the property, and the play area (with pickleball courts) were great. Loved the outdoor tiki bar and bar area, plus the firepit was a great place to hang after dark.

The island of Islamorada, similar to most of the Keys, is not so awesome. It's old, but not charming. Architecturally it's an incongruent mess. Beautiful homes and resorts line the outside of the island, but the central core is a throw-away.

For restaurants, we LOVED Square Grouper. Robbies for lunch (with Bloody Mary's) was fun casual (and a great place for souvenirs. Islamorada Fish Company was a huge disappointment.

Relaxing

Two pools, hot tub, a bar and a beautiful relaxing area with chairs and a couple swings. So nice to be able to walk out of the condo and you’re just feet away from it all.

Nice, but sleepy property

The condo was great for three couples. Could have had up to four kids in the bunk room. The pool and hot tub closing at sunset was pretty lame and there wasn’t a lot of other activity.

very chill

The home is very nice. The beach is small but private. The pool is decent. We weren’t interested in water sports, which is really the main activity in The Keys. Our daily drama involved which seafood restaurant to try. No onsite restaurant, very limited poolside drinks. But we love the vibe, and will likely return.

Thanksgiving 2024

We recently stayed at Arbor in the Florida Keys and had an overall wonderful experience! The location is truly unbeatable – right in the heart of the Keys with beautiful waterfront views that make you feel like you're in paradise.

The property is very well-maintained. One of the highlights was the variety of water sports available, perfect for families looking for some adventure.

The pool area is lovely and a great place to cool off, though it is a bit on the smaller side. If you're visiting during peak times, it can feel a little crowded, but it's still a relaxing spot to unwind.

Overall, Arbor is a fantastic choice for a family-friendly getaway in the Florida Keys. We'd definitely return for another stay!
