Location

Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) is located at San José del Cabo, Baja California Sur, Mexico. The airport serves the Los Cabos area: San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. Most major airlines offer service here, with frequent flights from Los Angeles, Phoenix, San Francisco, Dallas, Houston, San Diego, Denver, Chicago, and Seattle. Punta Ballena Resort and its homes are about a 40-minute drive from the airport.

Your Destination Concierge can help you arrange a rental car or transport from the airport. If you take advantage of Inspirato in-residence breakfast service and the golf cart ride to the beach club, you may not need a car some days. However, you'll likely want one to drive to activities, into town for restaurants and shopping, and possibly for a day trip. Your concierge can arrange for a car service if you want to hit the town at night.

Everything you'd want

This is a lovely villa that comfortably held 9 members of our family. Enjoyed a relaxing time by the pool complemented by ample use of 2 golf carts to explore all amenities. We had a fabulous spa day to celebrate a birthday and the private catamaran our final day capped off a wonderful week. Local golf courses kept the gents entertained. For meals, you can't beat breakfast cooked by chefs in the villa every morning. Dinner was a combination of private chefs, on-site restaurants, and local hot spots (e.g., One and Only Palmilla, Amara). Our onsite concierge, Lucas, was attentive and flawless in organizing all the details. Patti took warm care of us in our villa every day. Such an incredible spot with the best people!!

Amazing experience!

The home was absolutely beautiful! The resort restaurants were really good. The private chef was fantastic as well. The excursions offered kept everyone occupied. If you're there on a Thursday night, please try to make the Art Walk. You will love the vibe. Take a trip to the marina. There is plenty of high end as well as local shops there. Renting the catamaran for a day of sailing is a must. The BEST part of the experience was our concierge Lucas! He is the "creme de la creme". He took excellent care of our group. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

This is a beautiful home in a luxurious resort.

The house is spacious and wonderful for a family or a group of friends. The pool and outdoor living spaces are excellent. Our Concierge, Lucas, was extremely attentive. The resort is beautiful with excellent restaurants, a lovely spa, delightful coffee, shop and boutique. We went sailing on a catamaran with Cabo Sails and had a chef‘s dinner which were both terrific. The house works very well with small children.

Great Couples Trip

Stayed for 4 nights at Casa Milagro and had a wonderful time! We had 4 couples together and the house was perfect. Everyone had their own room and bathroom (there is one room with 2 twin beds that we did not use). One couple had the "casita" which is a bit more private with the entrance just outside the front door of the house. Shout out to our house manager Lucas for making everything even more wonderful! He organized massages in house which were great and so relaxing. Also took care of everything else we needed/wanted. Even found a knee brace at the local pharmacy for us old people trying to play pickleball :-)

The view of the ocean was just enough to see whales passing by every day we were there and the pool and jacuzzi were awesome.

Housekeeping staff was friendly and efficient. The breakfast was amazing - especially the daily fruit plate and the crispy bacon! We had catered dinners most nights which were also wonderful and made it so much more relaxing of a vacation. The dinners were organized by our trip planner, Sulianys, who was incredibly helpful in getting everything organized in advance so we could really relax on the trip.

The house was well maintained and clean and any issues we had were solved almost immediately (one morning the air conditioning went out and by the time we had breakfast it was already fixed).

Our group went into San Jose Del Cabo for the art walk on Thursday night - what a beautiful way to spend the evening strolling around the town and doing a little shopping. We had dinner at Lumbre which was also very good. Transportation via van organized by Lucas was super easy and efficient.

We had afternoon drinks at the bar next to the Esperanza hotel overlooking the ocean. Could not have been a more beautiful setting. Go there!

One note - if you want to play pickleball or tennis, reserve courts in advance - there are only 3 pickleball courts and they were full quite a bit. The tennis courts were more available but there were times they were full.

A wonderful trip - I highly recommend!
