Starting January 1, 2025 Palmilla Golf Club will become private and is only allowing non-members to book the 9-hole Ocean Course.

Location

Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) is located at San José del Cabo, Baja California Sur, Mexico. The airport serves the Los Cabos area: San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. Most major airlines offer service here, with frequent flights from Los Angeles, Phoenix, San Francisco, Dallas, Houston, San Diego, Denver, Chicago, and Seattle. Without traffic, your residence is about a 25-minute drive from the airport.

Your concierge can arrange transportation during your stay upon your request, or you can rent a vehicle from Inspirato partner Avis beforehand. We do recommend exploring the nearby towns and all that Los Cabos has to offer.

Fabulous family trip

This was our first trip with our 5 children through Inspirato and it was wonderful. My favorite part was the wonderful housekeeper! It was so nice to be able to pick a housekeeping time of day. We were able to sleep in, have coffee, and have the house cleaned up while we were out of the house. Always perfectly in order when we came home. Loved having our breakfast cooked two mornings. The home was comfortable and extremely clean. Our concierge, Elena, was so sweet and helpful for us newbies! There was construction next door, but we aren’t very picky so didn’t bother us. All in all, a definite “win” for vacations.

Cabo Dreams

Our recent trip to Villa Dos Mares was tremendous. Our concierge, Gonzalo, was amazing and always had great advice. The only thing I would recommend for those golfers is to play Quivara or another course. The Palmilla Course is expensive, and the rental clubs are horrible, especially for what you pay. I recommend eating at Tres Los Gallos or Habernos Gastro Pub in San Jose del Cabo.

Top notch Service & Property in Cabo

We stayed in the Villas del Mar residences near the Palmilla. The home we stayed in was the Villa dos Mares. Four bedroom and 4.5 bathrooms. Very well furnished ensuite bedrooms plus an office adjacent to the master bedroom. Master and one other bedroom (second master) open up to the pool in the backyard. Great floor plan with perfectly stocked kitchen and full laundry room. Backyard is amazing with bar/outdoor kitchen, covered eating area with fireplace, plenty of lounge chairs and a hot tub and fire pit. We ordered groceries ahead of time for breakfasts and snacks but otherwise ate out for lunch and dinner every day. This property has the option of the residents' club access for an extra $250(ish) a day. We highly, highly recommend this. Club 96 is the resident's club with infinitely edge pool, bar, restaurant (open for all meals), beach access, games, etc. You can also rent paddleboards, kayaks, etc. Club Espiritu is their workout facility but offers much more than that. Pickleball, gym, spa, pilates, yoga, playground, lap pool, etc. Walking distance from the house although we were provided with 2 - 4 person golf carts (8 adults in our group). .

We had the team arrange a happy hour one evening with mariachis and bartenders plus a big breakfast made by two gals that came to the house the morning we left. They brought the groceries but also used all the left over food we had in the kitchen. Worked out perfectly and was very reasonable price - wise.

We really only left the resort for dinner each night and one day for shopping. We also had spa treatments at the hotel at the Palmilla. We had the travel team arrange a driver for each night for dinner. The driver waits for you and drives you back. Easy, peasey.

I can not say enough about or pre-travel team and the team on the ground once we arrived. Top notch to say the least. They were all very attentive, communicative and knowledgeable.

As a side note, we paid to have a doctor come to the house for Covid testing that is required before you return to US. We also unexpectedly had to use this service two other times during the week we were there. Any way, my point is that it is worth the cost for the convenience versus having to go somewhere, especially for a large group.

Fabulous!

The accommodations were luxurious and nestled in a great community. The club was a convenient option to enjoy the beach activities, pools and a casual meal for the entire family in a relaxing environment. The spa and health club were outstanding - spa services were great and the exercise equipment was top-of-the-line. The proximity to off-property activities with safe transportation was also a plus - no need to rent a car. We thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend the surfing and ATV excursions.

The precautions taken for the health of guests and staff members were very much appreciated.

Finally, the staff was absolutely outstanding!!!
