Location

Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) is located at San José del Cabo, Baja California Sur, Mexico. The airport serves the Los Cabos area: San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. Most major airlines offer service here, with frequent flights from Los Angeles, Phoenix, San Francisco, Dallas, Houston, San Diego, Denver, Chicago, and Seattle. Without traffic, your residence is about a 25-minute drive from the airport.

Your concierge can arrange transportation during your stay upon your request, or you can rent a vehicle from Inspirato partner Avis beforehand. We do recommend exploring the nearby towns and all that Los Cabos has to offer.

Great home

This 4 bedroom home was top of the line in the very upscale Palmilla development and a great place to relax as it's very private and quiet. The home was well stocked and the pool and hot tub were in great condition. Good view of the ocean and golf course from the pool area. Elana was an awesome host as she had drinks and snacks ready upon arrival and gave us great tours of the home and then of the surrounding area riding on one of the golf carts. Plenty of options for dining and activities such as golf and Flora Farms.

Love the Oasis!

We have stayed at the Oasis 3 times and really enjoy it. This time, we had 3 couples. The spacious bedrooms were lovely. We spent a lot of time outside poolside, by the firepit or in front of the fireplace. The villa's view is of the golf course - no beach view, but we didn't mind. 2 4-seater golf carts were provided, which was great because we could jaunt to the Shoppes of Palmilla for shopping, coffee, dinners, etc. Our favorites were Nick-San and Spendido. The housekeeping staff will make breakfast for you. So delicious, tons of food and very reasonably priced. We also had a local chef prepare a steak and lobster dinner for us at the villa, which was a definitely a highlight for us. A visit to Flora Farm was also well worth it, but we only drive there in daylight - night driving is a bit treacherous, so hire a car. Our host, Elena, was the best we have experienced through Inspirato! Upon arrival, she gave us a very thorough training re the tvs, fireplaces, etc. She gave us a tour of the Palmilla facilities and shops, which, even though we have been there before, was really helpful. We didn't need a lot in terms of reservations, but she answered all our questions, arranged airport rides, the 2 in-home meals, a birthday cake and set up birthday decorations for us. Best of all, she spoke with a local pharmacist (sick guest) and drove to pick up the meds for us. She checked in often and was a pleasure to work with. This was a great experience for all 6 of us!

miserable experience

The villa is too remote and has no beach facilities or relationship. Everything is wildly expensive including 150 every time we need transportation and every breakfast costs a fortune. Dinners in villa are ridiculously expensive. We lost power twice.

Fabulous Family House

We loved our week at this residence. The home was spacious and clean. We lived outdoors: ate meals at the big table, swam in the pool/hottub and hung out by the fire pit. The Concierge (Gonzalo) was incredible and helped us schedule a variety of activities.

Perfection

Our stay at Villa Oasis was fantastic. From the pre-trip planning to the stay, everything was pleasant and organized, so that we could participate in activities or just relax. Lucila did a great job getting us ready for the trip and arranging excursions. Elena is a wonderful concierge and made sure all our needs were met. The Villa is set back a bit from the ocean but has a view of the water. It is an easy ride down to the beach, the gym/pool at Palmilla Dunes, and the Shoppes at Palmilla with the golf carts provided.

We recommend whale watching this time of year, as well as Francisco with Juan More Taco and Chef Hugo Herrera for in-dining experiences. Massages at the Villa by Alejandro Cueto were also top-notch. The ladies said that the cooking class at Flora Farms was superb, and they would go there again without hesitation. We also recommend having breakfast prepared by the staff. The food was delicious and reasonable cost for what you get.
