This home is exclusively staffed, managed, and maintained by Inspirato.
Your private, sun-soaked pool is not heated.
Bedrooms one, two, three and the kids’ room are on the second floor, accessible via an outdoor staircase. The kids' room is connected to bedroom three. These bedrooms share a bathroom and closet but can be closed off and separated.
Your dedicated cook will prepare two meals per day for you, with a weekly additional charge of $100. Special dietary requests must be made at least 10 days in advance and will incur an additional fee.
A resort fee of $100 per day covers access to Eden Roc’s beach club, pools, restaurants, kid's club, and spa but it does excludes access to the Fitness & Training Center as members and guests have access to a shared fitness center. This fee will be added to your Inspirato folio.
Blackout dates for Eden Roc Beach Club may occur over festive weeks, including Easter and New Years. Contact your Care team for additional information.
This home is located right next to the water on a rocky shoreline. You cannot swim directly outside, but the beach at Eden Roc Beach Club is just five minutes away.
Beach conditions change frequently and you may experience an unusual amount of seaweed on the beach during your visit. Please contact your Care team for the most up-to-date information.

Location

Fly into Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ), located in the eastern Dominican Republic. Direct flights are available from many U.S. cities, including Miami, Charlotte, New York, Atlanta and Newark.

Once you arrive at your residence, you'll likely find a rental car isn't necessary. Beaches and resort amenities are close at hand. Your Destination Concierge is happy to arrange transportation from the airport and also to discuss an Avis rental car if you think you'll want to explore a bit more.

Awaken to ocean waves and fresh coffee

This was my third visit to these villas and our first time staying in Villa Caona, and it was another wonderful experience. The first floor has 2 queen beds with a private bathroom. Upstairs (but with entrance being exterior doors) are 3 large bedrooms with king beds and private bathrooms. All rooms open to a balcony that faces the water. One upstairs bedroom also has what I would describe as a kids room in it with two twin beds, its own tv, and dressers. This room is within the king suite (does not have its own entrance door), has a door to close the room off from the king bedroom area, but does share the same bathroom. If it were all adults sharing this room, you do have access to the bathroom without having to walk past the person in the king bed.

The setting of this villa is beautiful, with unobstructed water views and the sound of waves crashing at night as you fall asleep. Even though the villa shares a small enclave with two other Inspirato homes, it felt completely private. We never heard or saw anyone else during our stay.

We traveled with our three adult children ages 20 to 26, and two of them brought friends, so there were seven adults in total. The villa accommodated everyone comfortably and gave us plenty of space to relax.

During our stay we spent a day out on the water visiting Saona Island, which was stunning. One evening the kids went to Coco Bongo and had a great time, and my husband and son played the beautiful Punta Espada Golf Club, which is right nearby.

Outside of that, we mostly enjoyed relaxing at the villa’s private pool and spending time at the beach at Eden Roc Cap Cana.

We had two dinners out, one at La Palapa at Eden Roc and another at Barbudo Restaurant and Lounge about ten minutes away. Both were excellent, and we even spent a little time at the small casino next door to Barbudo after dinner. However, the meals prepared in the villa were all fabulous. We went out just to break things up but you could easily enjoy all your meals prepared for you and they will be wonderful.

Getting around was easy thanks to Santo arranging with ERT Transportation, which was always reliable and punctual, so we never had to worry about logistics.

Most importantly, the staff truly made the experience special. Santo, Dixon, Cesar, and Marta were fantastic. They turned the house into a true vacation retreat and went out of their way every day to make us feel welcomed, cared for, and completely relaxed.

We would absolutely stay here again and would recommend Villa Caona to anyone visiting Cap Cana.

Paradise

This was the best trip so far. The house exceeded our expectations and the team catered to our every need. The rooms were spacious, the views are spectacular, 5 minutes to golf, beach, stores. Every aspect of the trip was excellent - Planning, Meals, Housecleaning and Service! Thanks to Santo, Johnny, Dixon, and DeAngie!!!!!

Highly Recommended

We've been Inspirato members for many years, and our stay at Villa Caona was easily our favorite trip yet. We spent five unforgettable nights with four close friends/family, and every detail made it feel truly special. Paula in the pre-planning process was very helpful with questions ahead of our trip. While we had a few hiccups with the activities planned and our grocery order, everything was resolved quickly by the concierge team.

The true stars of our experience were Dixon, our chef, and Jesus, our butler—the dynamic duo! Dixon's meals were among the best we've ever had while traveling—delicious, beautifully presented, and always timely, with plenty to enjoy later. Jesus went above and beyond, greeting us each day with a warm smile and positive energy. He made incredible drinks and anticipated our every need.

The housekeeping team was also outstanding—our rooms were kept spotless, and their quiet, consistent presence made a big difference. You could feel the love and pride in the service from the entire team. They truly wanted us to have an amazing vacation and enjoy the beauty of the Dominican Republic.

While the property itself could use some touch-ups—cracked baseboards and worn walls—we saw it as part of the villa's charm and character. We loved relaxing by the pool, visiting Eden Roc Beach Club, golfing, and enjoying spa treatments in the villa. One odd encounter with a server at Eden Roc didn't take away from the experience—we let it go and kept enjoying the trip. We highly recommend this trip if you like to be pampered and want home cooked chef meals every day!

Overall great experience

Villa Caona was most certainly very accommodating! The house was very clean and comfortable. The entire staff went above and beyond to meet our needs and expectations. We couldn't have asked for better service. One of our family members has a peanut allergy and the staff was very receptive to it and made accommodations for it. Being that we traveled with children it would have been great to have a few more things for the children to have to entertain themselves. Possibility a pool basketball net, a football or board games.

Incredible group vacation

We booked this villa and its neighbor as a chance for multiple families with teenage kids to spend time together over spring break. The villa was lovely, clean, well-maintained, and located in an ideal spot. The perfect place to relax and unwind. The butler/chef/concierge combo were unbeatable...they really went above and beyond to make every day excellent. They treated the entire group as welcomed guests from start to finish. Access to the beach club at Eden Roc is the cherry on top for those who want a change of scene, a chance to swim in the ocean, a night out, or a spa day. Would highly recommend Villa Caona and Villa Bagua to anyone.
