The closest airport to this residence is the Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport (PVR). Punta de Mita is approximately an hour from the airport. There are plenty of charming coastal towns nearby to explore and we recommend arranging a rental car in advance through Club partner Avis. Self-Paced Vacation

Most of our vacations are filled with activities and sorted schedules. This one was perfect for taking it one day at a time, hour by hour. Everything is so close, the pool, beach game room, kids room, etc. The condo is beautifully kept and the AC on blast was our absolute favorite feature. The on-site concierge and housekeeper were both lovely. And the beach club had the best fish tacos.

Punta de Mita is always great!

We have been to Punta de Mita 9 times now. As always, Isrrael was the best concierge. All our previous visits were at Inspirato's Los Veneros residences so we were excited to see how Olas Azules at the Naya development (immediately next door to Los Veneros) would be. We loved our stay at Olas Azules and it compares equally to Los Veneros but each has different characteristics that differ from the other. The residence at Olas Azules is newer than the Los Veneros residences. The amenities at Olas Azules are newer and generally better than Los Veneros. For example, Olas Azules has a beach club with a modest bar and restaurant and beachside/poolside service. Los Veneros doesn't really have that yet, though it looks like Los Veneros is in the process of building a more modest one. The beachside pools and beachside lounging arrangements at Olas Azules are superior to that at Los Veneros. Olas Azules also has a pretty good gym with pickle ball courts and a quality teen lounge area that our kids actually used. The downside to Olas Azules is that the walk from the beach to the residence is a quarter mile each way so just be prepared for that and if mobility is an issue for you, the resort will send a driver with a golf cart to bring you back and forth.

With all that said, our preference for the future will probably be Los Veneros. Inspirato's ground floor residences are just so convenient for our family and the surf spots at that beach are directly in front of Los Veneros.

Beautiful home; resort complex not fully "open"

We stayed here for 2 nights after being at Los Veneros to check it out as it was a new property that had just opened in Feb 2024. The pros: The space is amazing - lots of room, beautifully decorated and new! Beachside pools + another closer to our residence were awesome! There is a separate, very shallow pool for little kids with lots of shade which is a great option for families. The gym is well equipped and although we didn't use the padel courts, they looked great. Another bonus for families is a teen area with games/TV and another area for little kids (not staffed) that our kids (ages 4 & 7) loved.

Cons: We were told after arrival that it was a "soft opening" so the beach club (only restaurant/food service on the property) was closed for 2 days while we were there. There are no coffee shops, deli, snack bars etc on site, just the beach club. You could walk down the beach to the W resort I guess but we were travelling with a senior who couldn't comfortably do the walk. Also, they requested we leave the resort at 11am check out even though we weren't getting picked up for the airport until 3pm. Luckily our concierge escalated our request to stay and use the facilities until we left. The construction next door wasn't too loud, more of an eye-sore than anything. Dorians (concierge) and Elsa (housekeeper) were 5 star!
