Location

Charleston International Airport (CHS) is about an hour's drive from Kiawah Island. Bicycle rentals are one of the most popular ways to get around the island. Your Destination Concierge is happy to discuss and make any arrangements for transportation.

In order to easily explore the island's restaurants, golf courses, and beaches, we recommend renting a car through Club partner Avis. Inspirato members receive exclusive benefits through the invitation-only Avis President's Club.

Kiawah far exceeded expectations

We just returned from a week at Honeysuckle and cannot recommend it highly enough. As a West Coast family, Kiawah wasn't on our radar and honestly, we weren't sure what to expect. It far exceeded every expectation.

The house itself was incredible. Spacious, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully appointed. The marsh views were a highlight of every morning, and the location could not have been better. A quick bike ride and we were on the beach, which with two young kids meant everything. The beach was a revelation too. Warm, calm, gentle waves and miles of it to explore.

Our concierge Sydney was the difference maker. She had our groceries stocked and waiting when we arrived, which made the transition from a long travel day feel effortless. She planned and booked all of our activities, from the safari tour to the ecoBoat to Mingo Point, and coordinated our dinner reservations and sitter for our adult night at the Atlantic Room. I was almost completely hands off, which, as a busy working parent, felt like a real gift.

If you're on the fence about Kiawah, especially from the West Coast, book it. And if you get the chance to work with Sydney, you're in the best possible hands.

Serene Marsh Views

loved this house. The views from both inside and outside were spectacular. My husband and 25 year old son loved the golf and the beach/weather was wonderful. We biked all over the island and the eastern end of the island has spectacular marsh/savannah like vistas. This was our 5th trip to Kiawah since June 2020. We will definitely be back again. Our concierge Marge was wonderful.

it's new and being on the marsh is pretty nice...

We had a few different groups through the stay. The house is great. Only 6 months old. The kitchen/Dining table only fits 6 (we squeezed in 8 with chairs from the second floor) and it worked in a pinch. The garages are a little tight, I got a car in, but needed help getting it out.

The team in Kiawah is well oiled and really know there stuff. Available and very willing to solve issues or take care of you...they were great.

We went to Lost Isle for dinner a few nights, just won restaurant of the year from Southern Living. Golf is a little expensive, everything there is, but the quality for everything is great. No bad meals.

Screened in porch was a favorite! The view of the marsh out the back is great...

The pool is a little too small, we only used it once briefly.

High arks for the Low Country in the off-season!

My girlfriends and I were in search of a 'mellow vibe' for our January reunion, and intentionally chose Kiawah in the off-season, knowing it would be quiet and serene - and it was just that! We loved every minute we spent together in this absolutely beautiful home, and very much appreciated the great care we got from our local host, Marge Stanton. It surpassed every expectation we had for our getaway, complete with an unexpected snow storm!

Great location if you want and like resort living

The house is layout is great, but not walking distance to beach. You really want to dine locally because the drive to and from Charleston is not a short drive. Great location for golfers who want to play Kiawah course. Be prepared for a long to and from CHS airport.
