The Bahamas are closer to the U.S. than Caribbean destinations and Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS) is served by American Airlines, US Airways, JetBlue, Delta and others. A rental car is not necessary and usually is not the most convenient as there is limited parking and driving on the left can be a challenge.
