Location

The Chromata Hotel is accessible via ferry or flight from nearby Athens. Santorini (Thira) National Airport (JTR) is just 5 miles (8 km) from the hotel. The island of Santorini has a reliable public bus system that connects the island’s 23 villages. You won’t need a car if you plan on staying near the resort, but if you wish to venture further afield, it might be worth it to rent one. We recommend renting a car through club partner Avis.

Inspirato + Chromata Hotel + Santorini = Heaven

Absolutely! Here's a more passionate and informative version:

Just returned from an unforgettable week in Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini, and I can't recommend it enough. If you're planning a trip, you must stay at the Katikies Chromata Hotel in Santorini—it's sheer perfection. Perched high above the water and caldera, it's right in the heart of everything.

The staff at Katikies Chromata are incredibly nice, helpful, and attentive. Every request we had was met with a smile, and nothing slipped by them. The space itself is a beautiful blend of modern, clean design and authentic Greek charm. And the food? Absolutely amazing.

If you're looking for a top-notch experience in Greece, this is the place to be. I'd go back in a heartbeat!

Santorini - Katikies Chromata Hotel

The island is excellent and pretty easy to walk around on. The Chromata is located near Fira - easy walking distance, but too far of an after dinner return walk from Oia. Oia is where the more upscale things to do are located - shopping, restaurants, etc. - less clubs. The hotel is fantastic and the service at the Chromata is excellent - from all the staff, the servers and the front desk.

Tips:

1) Buy bottled water across the street at the market as you can not drink the water out of the tap.

2) the right side of the pool has better shade in the afternoon.

3) Have dinner in Ammoundi - we got a reservation through the hotel's awesome concierge at the Sunset. try and request the 2nd floor.

4) Both the wine tasting and the boat tours are fantastic. You may want to try booking the boat tour outside the hotel. We went with friends from another hotel and they saved $1000 by booking with someone in Oia not at their hotel.
