For easy access to and from the airport and the surrounding area, we recommend renting a car through club partner Avis. A Stunning Mountain Haven in Stowe!

Upon arrival, our family felt like we had hit the jackpot. The room is absolutely gorgeous, immaculate, huge, and so comfortable! OMG. We loved our time in Stowe and we feel like the experience at the Lodge at Spruce Peak was at least 50% to credit! Thank you!

Great Setup and Accommodation

Overall, can’t get much more convenient that this setup. Very nice unit featuring 3 beds each with in unit bath plus a half bath so everyone has space and privacy. The hotel is right at the base of the mountain with extremely easy access to lifts. The base village also is very nice/cute, top notch infrastructure, especially for the east coast.

Exceptional Location, Mixed Service

We had a wonderful stay overall and would absolutely return, but there are a few service gaps worth noting.

The hotel, residences, and direct access to the ski lifts were truly incredible and made the trip seamless—especially with kids. The residence itself was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for our family to spread out and relax. The club breakfast was another highlight: great variety, well stocked, and an easy, enjoyable way to start ski days.

Where the experience fell short was service consistency. Checkout took much longer than expected, with a 30–40 minute delay. We also had to contact the concierge multiple times to arrange for a bellman, which was frustrating when trying to manage luggage and timing. Simple requests—like laundry detergent—required several follow-ups and ultimately a trip to the front desk to retrieve it ourselves.

Additionally, some hotel activities changed without notice, and there didn't seem to be a clear or reliable system for communicating updates to guests, which led to confusion and missed opportunities.

Overall, the property, accommodations, and location are exceptional and truly the stars of the experience. With more consistent service execution and improved guest communication, this could easily be a flawless stay.

Stowe, Ideal for Families

The 3000 SF 4 bedroom 4.5 bath unit is ideal for a large family. The lodge has kids activities nearly every day, making it easy to please everyone. Between the pool, nearby hiking, ability to golf, rent bikes and explore the area, our time in VT was terrific.

The golf course on the property is mountainous, and not for everyone. 12 minutes away there's a course that's wonderful.

The kitchen's refrigerator is on the small side, making it a challenge if one needs to prepare large meals.

It's All About Location

You cannot beat this location for skiing. You are one floor above the Main Lodge which is so convenient, and you have a separate concierge lounge and dining area for penthouse guests. Complimentary breakfast is so appreciated when guests are running out for their winter activities. The gym has been renovated and has some impressive equipment.

This was a family trip with 2 infants so we didn't eat out much, but we did order in pizza and salads from Piecasso and it was very good. Sarah at the concierge's desk was very helpful. The unit was out of a few items, and she responded quickly. She arranged to get us a couple of sleds for the kiddies as well. If you are there on a Saturday, they have a nice wine and cheese reception. It was a great trip and we hope to be back soon.
