Location

If you fly into Milan-Malpensa Airport (MXP), Milan's major international hub, you will be located roughly 30 miles from NEMI Milan. Linate Airport (LIN) is only four miles away, but please note that this much smaller facility generally serves European destinations only. From the airport, you can take a Malpensa Express train and arrive at Milan Cadorna railway station in about 30–40 minutes. This station is just a five-minute taxi ride from your hotel. Your concierge can arrange private transportation from the airport, as well.

We do not recommend driving in Milan. Traffic is intense, parking is scarce, and there are fees applied to driving in certain areas of the city. Instead, we suggest exploring by foot, as many top attractions are close to each other and there are many pedestrian-only streets. Alternatively, the famed tram system and far-reaching Metro System are good for getting around. Taxis are abundant but expensive.

NEMI Service is Excellent

We did 3 nights in a Suite and overall trip was excellent. The room was described as is except it didn't have a tub and after long day shopping that was missed. The service is what sets this place apart from the time you get there to the time you leave. The restaurant Forte Garden was excellent for dinner as we ate there 2 nights and the breakfast every morning that was including was equally as good. The location is about 20 minute walk to Duomo and all of the action or a 10 minute Uber so close enough but not in the thick of the action. There is some construction going on across the street and noticeable graffiti all along the front of that building but that is all over Milan. Concierge arranged our pickup at airport and car to train station on departure and worked out great. Overall good trip and would stay here again.
